Caldes de Montbui in Catalan or Caldas de Montbui in Spanish, is a Spanish town and municipality in the comarca[1] of the Vallès Oriental in Catalonia. It is situated in the upper valley of the Caldes river, and the highest point of the municipality is the peak of el Farell at 816 m. It lies about 30 km from Barcelona and it part of its metropolitan area. The hot springs have been exploited since Roman times, and the remnants of the Roman baths and other Roman buildings can still be seen. The source of la Font del Lleó ("Lion Springs") in the main square emerges at more than 70 °C (158 °F). The town conserves parts of its medieval fortifications and the Torre de la Presó (prison). The hermitage of la Mare de Déu del Remei dates from the sixteenth century, as does the church of Santa Maria with its baroque entrance. The roman church of Sant Sebastià de Montmajor, in the village of the same name at the extreme north-west of the municipality, is particularly well preserved. The artist Manolo Hugué lived and worked in Caldes de Montbui, and his house has been converted into a museum displaying both his works and those of other artists. The town also has an archeological museum and the Delger museum of furniture, paintings and sculptures. Continuing in this artistic tradition is the master landscape painter Ramon Vilanova, a native son of the city and lifetime resident.

It is located in the north-west corner of the comarca, on the border with comarca of Moianès to the north, and the comarca of Vallès Occidental to the west.

Sant Miquel del Fai is a cenobitic Benedictine monastery in Bigues i Riells, Catalonia, Spain. The 11th-century building was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural landmark in 1988.

Sant Jaume de Vallverd is a Romanesque church located about fifty kilometers from Barcelona and four kilometers from the village of Sant Llorenç Savall in Vallès Occidental county (Catalonia). In the 12th century, Bernat de Vallverd, a knight and landowner built the chapel next to his house. As stated in his will (1190 A.D.), the church would pass to his son Bernard with the commitment to hold mass there weekly and maintain a lamp perpetually lit inside. If these conditions were not met, the properties would pass to the monks of Sant Llorenç del Munt.In the mid-17th century, five centuries after its construction, the church was completely in ruins. In the 19th century, only part of the apse and the south façade of the original chapel remained. In 1975, the owner of “La Busqueta”, a nearby farmhouse, decided to restore it, accurately replicating the structure of the original Romanesque building.The church consists of a small single nave that retains two original structures from the 12th century: the apse and part of the barrel vault. It is possible to see the westernmost part of the barrel vault reconstructed with wooden beams. Noteworthy external decorative elements include a bell-less belfry and blind arches in the apse. Next to the chapel there is a cave with a barred gate, lending a mysterious presence to the site. On July 25, the feast of Sant Jaume (St. James) is celebrated in the chapel.

Lliçà de Vall (Spanish: Llissá de Vall) is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain in the province of Barcelona in the comarca, Valles Oriental. As of 2013, the population is 6,182.

Parets del Vallès is a municipality situated 23 km north of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain, in the south-west of the comarca of Vallès Oriental, and 7 km from its capital Granollers. It covers an area of 8,98 km², and has approx. 16,000 inhabitants. From north to south, the town is crossed by the Tenes river. The population is spread over six areas: Barri Antic (Catalan for "old quarter"), on top of the hill surrounding the church; Eixample ("extension"), the most densely populated, laid out in the 1930s; Escorxador ("slaughterhouse"); Can Cerdanet; Can Volart; and Can Riera (these last three named after the farms in those areas). The municipality includes a small exclave to the north-west.
