Showa Women's University Junior College

Showa Women's University (昭和女子大学, Shōwa Joshi Daigaku) is a women's private university in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. The university has undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs and five research institutes. It also contains affiliated schools that span from kindergarten to high school. Aside from the main campus in Setagaya, the university has two satellite campuses: Tomei Gakurin in Kanagawa, and Boshu Kaihin Gakuryo in Chiba. There is also an international campus in Boston, Massachusetts. The Setagaya campus is home to The British School in Tokyo Showa Campus.The university is heavily inspired by the Tolstoyan movement. The university was based on the principles of "love, compassion, and harmony" (Japanese: 清き気品, 篤き至誠, 高き識見) according teachings of Leo Tolstoy. The university's education system was inspired by Tolstoy's teaching style at his estate in Yasnaya Polyana.

Showa Women's University Junior-Senior High School (昭和女子大学附属昭和中学校・高等学校, Shōwa Joshi Daigaku fuzoku Chūgakkō Kōtōgakkō) is a girls' junior and senior high school operated by Showa Women's University. It is within two separate buildings on the campus in Setagaya, Tokyo. As of 2019 the principal is Tomoko Kaneko.1922 was its year of establishment of a five-year institute to enter Showa Women's University. A new junior high and high school opened in 1947 and 1948, respectively.

Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall (Japanese: 昭和女子大学人見記念講堂, Hepburn: Shōwa Joshi Daigaku Hitomi Kinen Kōdō) was built by Showa Women's University in Tokyo, Japan on its campus in 1980 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the foundation of its predecessor, the Japan Women's School of Higher Education. It is a concert venue.

Sangen-jaya Station (三軒茶屋駅, Sangenjaya-eki) is a railway station in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation. It is located at the merging of two highways, National Route 246 and Setagaya-dori, just outside the central area of Shibuya. The station is the terminus of the Setagaya Line and is also served by the Den-en-toshi Line.

Sangenjaya (三軒茶屋) is a district of Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. It is also known as Sancha (三茶) for short. It is home to many bars, cafes and restaurants. Some major streets include National Route 246, Setagaya-dori and Chazawara-dori.

The Carrot Tower (キャロットタワー, Kyarotto Tawā) is a high-rise commercial building located in Sangen-jaya, Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. It was completed in November 1996. The building has 26 stories above ground and 5 basement levels. Its name was the winning entry in a competition among local children. The upper levels have office space, while the lower stories contain shops, a gallery, and a public theatre. The top floor has an observation deck along with a banquet area and restaurant. It also houses a broadcasting studio of the local FM Setagaya radio station. The game development company Game Freak hosted their headquarters on the 22nd floor of the Carrot Tower until transferring to Kanda Square in 2020. The site on the 22nd floor still serves as an alternative site development studio for Game Freak today.Sangen-Jaya Station on the Tōkyū Setagaya Line is integrated into the ground floor.

Ikejiri-ōhashi Station (池尻大橋駅, Ikejiri-ōhashi-eki) is a railway station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line extending through Setagaya, Tokyo and Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. It is operated by the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation. Ikejiri-ōhashi station is the easternmost station in Setagaya. The station number is DT-02.

Meguro (目黒区, Meguro-ku) is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan. The English translation of its Japanese self-designation is Meguro City. The ward was founded on March 15, 1947. Meguro is predominantly residential in character, but is also home to light industry, corporate head offices, the Komaba campus of University of Tokyo as well as fifteen foreign embassies and consulates. Residential neighborhoods include, Jiyugaoka, Kakinokizaka, and Nakameguro. As of May 1, 2015, the ward has an estimated population of 277,171 and a population density of 18,890 persons per km2. The total area is 14.67 km2. Meguro is also used to refer to the area around Meguro Station, which is not located in Meguro ward, but in neighboring Shinagawa's Kamiōsaki district.

Komaba Junior and Senior High School, University of Tsukuba (筑波大学附属駒場中学校・高等学校) is a national boys' school located in Ikejiri, Setagaya, near Komaba. It is better known by the abbreviation Tsukukoma (筑駒). Tsukukoma is affiliated with the University of Tsukuba and provides six-year secondary education programmes. Tsukukoma is the only national boys' school in Japan and is regarded as one of the most selective secondary educational institutions in the country.

Ōhashi (大橋) is a neighborhood located in the northern area of Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. Consisting of two chōme. As of October 1, 2020, the neighborhood has a population of 7,181.

Wakabayashi Station (若林駅, Wakabayashi-eki) is a railway station on the Tokyu Setagaya Line in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Tokyu Corporation.
