Orebank is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Sullivan County, Tennessee. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.It is in the northwest part of the county, bordered to the north, west, and south by the city of Kingsport. It sits on a topographic bench between Chestnut Ridge to the south and the valley of Reedy Creek to the north. Reedy Creek is a west-flowing tributary of the South Fork of the Holston River, part of the Tennessee River watershed. Orebank Road is the main street through the community, leading west into Kingsport. Downtown Kingsport is 6 miles (10 km) west of Orebank.

Yancey's Tavern is a historic structure located in Sullivan County, Tennessee on Island Road, the first wagon road in the state (1761). The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Sullivan North High School was a public high school (grades 9–12) located in Kingsport, Tennessee under the authority of Sullivan County Schools. Opened in 1980, the school had a student body of approximately 1500 students. However, due to declining enrollment partly from annexation by the city of Kingsport, enrollment was reduced to approximately 600 students at the time of amalgamation into West Ridge High School in 2021. Sullivan North's former facilities were used to form John Sevier Middle School until 2022. The facility became the Tribe Athletic Complex, which held middle school and youth league games and practices. The Dobyns-Bennett basketball team had their season in the former Sullivan North gym due to roof problems with the Buck Van Huss dome.

Bloomingdale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sullivan County, Tennessee. The population was 8,918 at the 2020 census down from 9,888 at the 2010 census, due to annexation by the City of Kingsport. It is part of the Kingsport-Bristol-Bristol, TN-VA Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is a component of the Johnson City-Kingsport-Bristol, TN-VA Combined Statistical Area – commonly known as the "Tri-Cities" region.

The Fulkerson–Hilton House is a historic home located near Hiltons, Scott County, Virginia. It was built in 1783 according to historic records and verified by a dendrochronology study. The home is a two-story log dwelling. It is built with a mix of oak, pine, and poplar hewn logs. It measures 20 feet wide, 50 feet long, and 20 feet in height and has a standing seam metal gable roof. A front verandah was added in 1936, and a kitchen and dining room addition in 1949. Also on the property is a family cemetery including a historic marker for the home's builder Abraham Fulkerson.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

West Ridge High School is a public high school (grades 9–12) located in Blountville, Tennessee which operates under the administration of Sullivan County Schools. It was founded as a merger of Sullivan South High School, Sullivan North High School, and Sullivan Central High School in 2021. Dr. Josh Davis was announced as principal in July 2020 and has presided since the opening of the school in August 2021. In June 2023, it was announced that George Laoo would become the school's new principal and has been the principal since the start of the 2023-2024 school year in August 2023 [1]

Sullivan Central High School was a public high school (grades 9–12) located in Blountville, Tennessee under the authority of Sullivan County Schools. It served students from Blountville Middle School and Holston Middle School until it was incorporated into the new West Ridge High School in 2021. The school's mascot was the cougar, and its final principal was Mark Foster before the school's facilities transitioned into Central Middle School following the formation of West Ridge High.
