Piarco International Airport

China Clipper (NC14716) was the first of three Martin M-130 four-engine flying boats built for Pan American Airways and was used to inaugurate the first commercial transpacific airmail service from San Francisco to Manila on November 22, 1935. Built at a cost of $417,000 by the Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore, Maryland, it was delivered to Pan Am on October 9, 1935. It was one of the largest airplanes of its time. On November 22, 1935, it took off from Alameda, California on commission to deliver the first airmail cargo across the Pacific Ocean. Although its inaugural flight plan called for the China Clipper to fly over the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge (still under construction at the time), upon take-off the pilot realized the plane would not clear the structure, and was forced to fly narrowly under instead. On November 29, the airplane reached its destination, Manila, after traveling via Honolulu, Midway Island, Wake Island, and Sumay, Guam, and delivered over 110,000 pieces of mail. The crew for this flight included Edwin C. Musick as pilot and Fred Noonan as navigator. The inauguration of ocean airmail service and commercial air flight across the Pacific was a significant event for both California and the world. Its departure point is California Historical Landmark #968 and can be found in Naval Air Station Alameda.

Piarco is a town in Trinidad and Tobago. It is situated in the north of the island of Trinidad and is the site of the country's main airport, Piarco International Airport.

Kelly Village is a village in the Tunapuna–Piarco region of Trinidad and Tobago. The village is bordered by the Caroni River to the north, Caroni Village to the northwest, Frederick Settlement to the west, Warren to the southwest, Piarco to the north and east, St. Helena to the southeast, and Cunupia to the south. Kelly Village is located right next to the Piarco International Airport. The Caroni South Bank Road runs through the center of the village. The village is governed by the Kelly Village Council. Their member of parliament is Rishad Seecheran for Caroni East. The village has an online channel named Kelly Village TV (KVTV) that broadcasts the news and affairs of the village. The village has a Hindu temple: the Kelly Village Shiv Mandir. Kelly Village also has the Islamic Center Mosque. The village also has the Bethel's Spiritual Baptist Church, Hydraulic Road Kelly Village Community Bible Church, the Kelly Presbyterian Church, the Kelly Community Bible Church, and the Jesus Life Center Pentecostal Church.

Bon Air Secondary School is a co-educational secondary school in Arouca, Trinidad and Tobago. It is located at the Corner of Bon Air Gardens Junction and the Priority Bus Route, Arouca. Bon Air Secondary School is a five year secondary school consisting of Forms 1-5. The first Principal was Mrs. Jennifer-Cox Williams. She retired in July 2014. The second Principal of the school was Mrs. Paula Worrell-James. The present Acting Principal is Ms. Heidi Suite. Arouca is a town in the East–West Corridor of Trinidad and Tobago located 19 km (12 mi) east of Port of Spain, along the Eastern Main Road. It is located west of Arima, east of Tunapuna and Tacarigua, south of Lopinot, and north of Piarco. It is governed by the Tunapuna–Piarco Regional Corporation. Arouca may be a corruption of Arauca, an Amerindian tribe. During most of the Spanish rule, Arouca (then called San Agustín de Arouca) was a settlement reserved for Amerindians. However, when the French arrived in 1783 under Governor José María Chacón's Cedula de Repoblación the Amerindians were restricted to Arima. Most of the land in Arouca was split between the Tablau and Chaumet families. Arouca steadily grew into a major agricultural center, but the extension of the railroad to Sangre Grande in 1898 lured many people in Arouca to relocate to the more prosperous Sangre Grande valley. Today, it mainly comprises residential housing. There are several schools located in Arouca including the Bon Air Primary School, Arouca Anglican Primary School, Arouca Girls R.C., Arouca Boys R.C., Arouca Government Primary Schools and Bon Air High School. Arouca is home to four prisons and one correctional facility. These include the Golden Grove Prison, Remand Prison, Women's Prison and Youth Training and Rehabilitation Centre.

Tacarigua (originally San Pablo de Tacarigua) is a town in the East–West Corridor of Trinidad and Tobago, located east of Tunapuna, north of Trincity and west of Arouca. It is on the banks of the Tacarigua River. The city is governed by the Tunapuna–Piarco Regional Corporation. Tacarigua was originally a Spanish encomienda, prior to the relocation of the Amerindians to Arima in 1789. Some of the first mosques were built at Tacarigua in 1850. Famous cricket player Kieron Pollard was born here. With a multisport facility in Tacarigua, the Racquet Sport Centre, which has been host to local and international tournaments in tennis, table tennis and badminton. The 2018 Pan Am Badminton Championships and the 2017 & 2023 Carebaco Games were held there.

Cunupia is a town in central Trinidad. It is part of the Borough of Chaguanas. Cunupia is just northeast of Chaguanas proper. Like Chaguanas itself, Cunupia has experienced rapid growth in recent years, especially in terms of residential developments.

Tunapuna–Piarco is one of the 9 regions of Trinidad and Tobago. It is the most populous region in the country by total population and the fifth-largest by total land area. Geographically located in Northern Trinidad, Tunapuna–Piarco shares its borders with the regions of San Juan–Laventille to the west, Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo to the south, the Borough of Chaguanas to the south-west, Sangre Grande to the east and the Caribbean Sea to the north. The region also completely surrounds the Royal Chartered Borough of Arima, which is located in the south-eastern corner of the region. Tunapuna–Piarco is one of the most geographically diverse regions in Trinidad and Tobago. It features the country's two highest mountain peaks, El Cerro del Aripo at 3,084 feet and El Tucuche standing at a soaring 3,070 feet, which both tower the north of the region and the Northern Coast of Trinidad forming a part of the Northern Range.

Marvin Lee Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Macoya, Trinidad and Tobago which is housed together with the Dr. João Havelange Centre of Excellence. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Joe Public F.C. The stadium holds approximately 6,000 people. The stadium was named after defender and national Under-20 football captain Marvin Lee, who sustained head and neck injuries suffered in a collision with Landon Donovan in an U-20 game versus the USA. He was left paralysed after the incident and later succumbed to illness as a result of his weakened state. Lee was later recognised by the government of Trinidad for his service to the nation. In 2007, the stadium became the first in the Caribbean to have an artificial playing surface, costing TT$8 million, which was made possible through a FIFA development grant. The first game was a TT Pro League encounter, where Caledonia AIA scored a narrow win over Joe Public F.C. It was also host on June 15, 2008 to a World Cup qualifier between Trinidad and Bermuda which Bermuda won 2–1.

Macoya is a small town located alongside the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway in Trinidad and Tobago. It is located between Tunapuna and Trincity on the island of Trinidad.It is composed primarily of: Macoya/Trincity industrial estate - commercial warehouses Macoya Gardens - a small residential neighbourhood. Macoya village - located around Macoya Road near Constantine park Macoya extension - a developing community, south bound of centre of excellence. The Marvin Lee Stadium, a football facility that hosts domestic and international football matches as well as the adjacent João Havelange Centre of Excellence are located in Macoya.
