Drexeline station is a SEPTA Route 101 trolley stop in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. It is located near Woodland Avenue behind Drexeline Shopping Center in the Drexelbrook area. It is also located northeast of a bridge over Darby Creek near Indian Rock Park, a 21.9-acre (89,000 m2) Natural Environmental Park, containing picnic tables, playground equipment, and basketball courts. Drexeline is the closest stop on the entire Media-Sharon Hill trolley line system to US 1. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Orange Street in Media, Pennsylvania. Free parking is available at this station, although it is primarily designed for patrons of the shopping center. Until the Springfield Mall opened in 1974, Drexeline was the only stop along the Media line that served a shopping plaza of any kind. Today at least four stops serve shopping centers, and two of them serve the same one in Media.

The station has a shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining on one platform and a bench on the other. No parking is available at this station.

It is officially located near Anderson & Woodland Avenues, though the actual location is on Anderson Avenue south of Woodland Avenue. Anderson Avenue is a dead end street at this station which contains platforms on both sides of the tracks. The other platform is located across the tracks behind the parking lot of a group of condominiums on Valley Road. The station has a white and green stucco shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining, but it is on the side with the condominiums.

It is also located south of Indian Rock Park, a 21.9-acre (89,000 m2) natural environmental park in Drexel Hill, containing picnic tables, playground equipment, basketball courts, and Darby Creek.

Upper Darby Township (often shortened to Upper Darby) is a home rule township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Upper Darby is home to the Tower Theater, a historic music venue on 69th Street built in the 1920s, and is also home to several Underground Railroad sites. Upper Darby's population is diverse, representing over 100 ethnic cultures. The township hosts a range of housing types including densely populated rowhouse sections similar to houses in neighboring West Philadelphia, tree-lined neighborhoods of turn-of-the-century single-family houses and mid-century developments. It is Pennsylvania's sixth most populous municipality. As of the 2020 census, the township had a total population of 85,681, making it the sixth most populated city or borough in Pennsylvania, after Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Reading, and Erie. Upper Darby is 65% residential, 25% commercial, and 8% other. Because of a home-rule charter adopted in 1974 and effective in 1976, Upper Darby utilizes a mayor-council form of management, unlike communities that are still under the Pennsylvania Township Code. ("First Class" townships in Pennsylvania have a board of commissioners and are divided into wards, and "Second Class" townships have a board of supervisors, which are usually elected "at-large".)

Aronimink station is SEPTA Route 101 trolley stop in the Aronimink section of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. It is located on Burmont Road & Morgan Avenue, although SEPTA gives the address as being near that intersection. Aronimink is the only stop of the Media Line that crosses Burmont Road. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Orange Street in Media, Pennsylvania. The station has a shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining. The shelter is the standard P&W "Red Arrow" stone shelter, similar to that of the Providence Road stop in Media, and the Woodland Avenue stop in Springfield. Free parking is not available at this stop, and all parking lots within the vicinity are the property of local businesses, including that of a local branch of the U.S. Post Office. The Aronimink station is located in the same intersection as the former location of the Waverly Theatre in downtown Drexel Hill. The movie theater, hence the trolley stop, is a long-standing hub of the town, celebrated for its $1 movies through the mid-1980s, and is now the home of Hanrahan's Irish Pub.

JoAnne Carner, the 1971 champion, won in a Monday playoff over defending champion Sandra Palmer by a score of 76 to 78. The two had tied at 292 (+8), four strokes ahead of Jane Blalock.

The Armenian Martyrs' Congregational Church is located in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1907, it is one of the oldest surviving Armenian Evangelical Churches in the United States and the only such church in Pennsylvania. It is a member of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America. The earliest families of the church included the Keuhnelians, Diradourians, Mukhalians, and Hovsepians, and the first search committee was composed of Mihran Kassabian, Dr. Dicran Kabakjian, Aghavni Kabakjian, Roupen Mahjoubian, and Armenag Mahjoubian. The first pastor, Marsovan native Rev. Haig Yardumian, came to the church from the Armenian Evangelical Church in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.At the church's centennial celebration on December 2, 2007, several previous pastors were honored, including Rev. Hovhannes Karjian, Rev. Jirair Sogomian, Rev. Dr. Peter Doghramji, and Rev. Gary Schongalla-Bowman. Rev. Dr. Soghomon Nuyujukian was named Pastor Emeritus on that occasion.Until 2018, the pastor was the Rev. L. Nishan Bakalian, who prior to his ministries in Lebanon was married in (1980) and ordained at (1984) AMCC. He began serving in 2007. He resigned his position in 2017 to continue his ministries in Beirut. The church is searching for a new pastor, and the interim pastor is Rev. Edward Livingston.

Rolling Green Golf Club is a William Flynn designed golf course located in Springfield Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Founded to be a "golf club meant for golfers", Rolling Green has always proudly been a golf-only facility, without country club frivolities such as tennis or swimming. It opened for play in 1926. Rolling Green was ranked the 9th best golf course in Pennsylvania by Golf.com.

Springfield Road station is a SEPTA Route 101 trolley stop in Springfield Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It is located on Springfield Road between Windsor Circle and North Brookside Road, although SEPTA gives the address as being near Springfield and Rolling Roads. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Orange Street in Media, Pennsylvania. The major SEPTA 101 line improvement project of 2008-2010 expanded, modernized, and refurbished this facility. Inbound (toward 69th Street Terminal) trolleys stop for passengers on the north side of Springfield Road at a platform equipped with a large shed with an overhanging roof. A second, smaller shelter was added to the inbound platform. Outbound trolleys stop along a new (2009) platform along the south side of Springfield Road, adjacent to the sizeable station parking lot. This long platform has two open-air metal benches and a bench in a small, roofed shelter to protect waiting passengers during inclement weather. The lighted, landscaped, free parking lot by this platform offers parking for approximately 30 vehicles, and includes spaces for handicapped drivers and a bicycle rack. Several additional free parking spaces for cars line the outbound tracks along North Rolling Road on the north side of Springfield Road across from Windsor Circle.

Drexel Hill is a neighborhood and census-designated place (CDP) located in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 29,181 at the 2020 census, an increase over 28,043 in 2010, and accounting for over one-third of Upper Darby's population.

The 1958 PGA Championship was the 40th PGA Championship, played July 17–20 at Llanerch Country Club in Havertown, Pennsylvania, a suburb west of Philadelphia. It was the first PGA Championship held in its current stroke play format, 72 holes over four days, ending on Sunday. The previous editions were at match play, with the two most recent ones at seven rounds over five days, the final two rounds at 36 holes per match. The announcement of the change was made eight months earlier in November.Dow Finsterwald, the runner-up in 1957, shot a final round 67 to win his only major title, two shots ahead of runner-up Billy Casper. Finsterwald's round-by-round scores were 67-72-70-67=276, 4-under-par on the par-70 course. Sam Snead led after 54 holes in pursuit of a fourth title, but faded to third with a final round 73 (+3). The winner's share was $5,500, down from the previous year's $8,000. The Open Championship was held two weeks earlier in England at Royal Lytham & St Annes, with only two Americans in the field; Gene Sarazen finished 16th, but missed the first cut at the PGA Championship.
