Bielany-Tyniec Landscape Park (Bielańsko-Tyniecki Park Krajobrazowy) is a protected area (Landscape Park) in southern Poland, established in 1981, covering an area of 65.02 square kilometres (25.10 sq mi).

The Kraków-Kolna Canoe Slalom Course is an artificial whitewater course in Poland, on the south bank of the Vistula River, in the suburb of Kolna, 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Kraków. It is fed with river water diverted around a nearby dam. The top 120 metres (394 ft) of the course is a flatwater start pool that is covered in winter by a long white tent. Air inside the tent is heated, but the water is cold. This Olympic-standard slalom course is the site of frequent international competitions. In June 2013, it hosted the European Championships. It is part of a larger complex called the Kolna Sports and Recreation Center (Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji „Kolna") which includes a canal for flatwater sprint canoeing and an indoor gymnasium and swimming pool.

The Skawinka is a river in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of Poland, and a right tributary of the Vistula River. The Skawinka is 34 kilometres (21 mi) long and has a drainage basin of 365 square kilometres (141 sq mi). Its average discharge is 2.90 cubic metres per second (102 cu ft/s) (9.6 kilometres (6.0 mi) from the mouth).Its sources are located on the slopes of Babica in the Maków Beskids. The river flows through the Wieliczka Foothills and the valley of the Vistula.The main tributaries counting from the mouth: Rzepnik (right); Mogiłka (left); Włosianka, Łutówka, Głogoczówka, Harbutówka (right). The most important places along Skawinka: Skawinki, Lanckorona, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Leńcze, Wola Radziszowska, Radziszów, Rzozów, Skawina. The river lends its name to the village Skawinki located at its source and to the town of Skawina, which is the last town before its mouth. Sometimes it is called "Cedron" by the residents of the neighboring villages, especially around Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. In the late middle ages it used to be a political border between Silesia and Lesser Poland, and also between the Bohemian Crown and the Crown of Poland.

Skawina [skaˈvʲina] is a town in southern Poland with 27,328 inhabitants (2008). Situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Kraków Voivodeship (1975–1998). The town is located on the Skawinka river, in close proximity to the city of Kraków. Its population (as for December 31, 2010) was 23,761, and the area of the town is 20,50 km2. One of the most interesting historic buildings in Skawina is a Renaissance palace, built in the mid-16th century by Paweł Korytko. The name of the town probably comes from the Skawinka river.

Gmina Skawina is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Skawina, which lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of the regional capital Kraków. The gmina covers an area of 100.15 square kilometres (38.7 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 41,445 (out of which the population of Skawina amounts to 23,691, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 17,754).

Piekary [pjɛˈkarɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Liszki, within Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Liszki and 13 km (8 mi) south-west of the regional capital Kraków.

Ściejowice [ɕt͡ɕɛjɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Liszki, within Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Liszki and 14 km (9 mi) south-west of the regional capital Kraków.

Camaldolese Hermit Monastery in Kraków (Polish: Kościół Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Krakowie) is a Camaldolese priory in Bielany in Kraków, Poland. The monastery is located on the 326-metre (1,070 ft) Silver Mount. It consists of hermitages and the Assumption of Mary Church. The Camaldolese monks were invited to settle in Bieleany by Grand Court Marshal Mikołaj Wolski in 1603. The monastery was built between 1609 and 1630. The construction of the building was supervised by Walenty von Säbisch but after the collapse of part of the monastery the supervision over the works was subsequently taken over by Italian architect Andrea Spezza. By 1630, the monastery was completed according to his plans. The richly-decorated interior of the church is the result of works by another prominent Italian architect of the period Giovanni Battista Falconi. Inside the Royal Chapel there are paintings by Tommaso Dolabella the court painter of the Polish king Sigismund III Vasa. The central part of the presbytery features a painting by a Polish painter and graphic artist in the Romantic style Michał Stachowicz depicting the Assumption of Mary. Throughout its history the monastery was visited by such kings as John III Sobieski, Władysław IV Vasa, John II Casimir and Stanisław August Poniatowski. On 19 August 2002, the church was visited by Pope John Paul II during his pilgrimage to Poland.

Bielany [bʲɛˈlanɨ], originally a village near Kraków (Poland), since 1941 one of its neighbourhoods, located some 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of the city centre. Nowadays Bielany is a part of Kraków's Zwierzyniec District.

Kryspinów [krɨsˈpinuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Liszki, within Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) south-east of Liszki and 12 km (7 mi) west of the regional capital Kraków.A local Kryspinów Lake is a popular leisure spot among Cracovians. There are two large bodies of water formed on the site of a sand mine; though these actually lie in the neighbouring village of Budzyń.

Kopanka [kɔˈpanka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skawina, within Kraków County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Skawina and 15 km (9 mi) south-west of the regional capital Kraków.
