Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Thibodaux, Louisiana. It is home to the Nicholls Colonels football team of the Southland Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The stadium is named in honor of former state representative John L. Guidry who was instrumental in the establishment of Francis T. Nicholls Junior College. The playing surface is named Manning Field after the Manning family (Peyton, Eli, Cooper and Archie) because the family holds the annual Manning Passing Academy football camp at the facility. The current playing surface is GeoGreen Replicated Grass. The stadium was officially dedicated on September 16, 1972. The stadium features a three-level press box on the west side with a photo deck located on the roof. The president's suite and a 30-seat club level is located on the third level. The second-level houses an area for game management staff, television, radio and coaches' booths and a working press area. On the ground level is the Colonels Club Room. Members use the club room as a hospitality area before home football games as well as for various university functions throughout the year. The stadium is also the site of LHSAA high school football games, Crawfish Day, Winter Fest and holds marching band competitions.

Swanner Field at Geo Surfaces Park is a softball venue in Thibodaux, Louisiana, United States. It is home to the Nicholls Colonels softball team of the NCAA Division I Southland Conference. The venue has a capacity of 500.

Nicholls State University is a public university in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Founded in 1948, Nicholls is part of the University of Louisiana System. Originally named Francis T. Nicholls Junior College, the university is named for Francis T. Nicholls, a former governor of Louisiana, member of the Louisiana Supreme Court, and general in the Confederate army during the American Civil War. The 287-acre (1.16 km2) campus, once part of Acadia Plantation, fronts on Bayou Lafourche, about 50 miles (80 km) southwest of New Orleans and 60 miles (97 km) southeast of Baton Rouge. Its oldest structure, Elkins Hall, was completed in 1948 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Nicholls is located in the Acadiana region. It is also within the geographical bounds of the Mississippi River Delta, and close to the Mississippi River, its distributaries, Louisiana's wetlands, and the Gulf of Mexico.

The Nicholls Soccer Complex is a soccer facility located on the campus of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, United States. It serves as the home of the Nicholls Colonels women's soccer team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 1,000.In 2012, the soccer stadium received a complete renovation which including locker rooms, a team area, offices, new press box and a concession area.

David R. Stopher Gymnasium or Stopher Gym is a 3,800-seat multi-purpose arena in Thibodaux, Louisiana, United States, on the campus Nicholls State University. It is named for David R. Stopher. It is home to the Nicholls Colonels men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. It hosts many other functions including Nicholls' commencement, Manning Passing Academy and a variety of concerts and community events.

Elkins Hall is a historic administrative building located on the north side of the campus of Nicholls State University fronting Bayou Lafourche. It was the first building constructed on the campus of what was then known as Francis T. Nicholls State College.

The McCulla House is a historic house located at 422 East 1st Street in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Built in c.1907, the structure is a two-story frame residence in Queen Anne Revival style with Colonial Revival gallery columns. Rienzi Plantation House is a historic mansion located at 215 East Bayou Road in Thibodaux, Louisiana. While it gives the impression of dating to c.1840, it is believed that the house was built between 1814 and 1825. Rienzi plantation house is located directly across Bayou Lafourche from the town of Thibodaux. Despite the proximity of a modern shopping center, the house enjoys a historic setting due to the large live oaks on the property. Two of the oaks are registered in the Live Oak Society. The mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 31, 1980.

The Robichaux House is a historic house located at 322 East 2nd Street in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Built in 1898, the house is a two-story frame residence in Queen Anne Revival style with Eastlake gallery details, three polygonal bays and two chimneys. Thibodaux ( TIB-ə-doh) is a city in, and the parish seat of, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, United States, along the banks of Bayou Lafourche in the northwestern part of the parish. The population was 15,948 at the 2020 census. Thibodaux is a principal city of the Houma–Bayou Cane–Thibodaux metropolitan statistical area. Thibodaux is nicknamed the "Queen City of Lafourche."
