Fred C. Yager Stadium is a football stadium in Oxford, Ohio, United States. It is home to the Miami University RedHawks football team. It has a capacity of 24,286 spectators, and was built in 1983. It replaced Miami Field, which had been used since 1895 (the stands had been built in 1916) and was the home field for many of the coaches who had made the school famous. The stadium is named for Fred C. Yager, class of 1914, who was the lead benefactor in the project to build the stadium.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter House of Miami University is a registered historic building in Oxford, Ohio, listed in the National Register on February 8, 2005. The building was modeled after Sulgrave Manor, ancestral home of George Washington. The cornerstone was laid in November 1937 and the house was completed the following year.

Stanley G. McKie Field at Joseph P. Hayden Jr. Park, commonly referred to as Hayden Park or McKie Field at Hayden Park, is a baseball venue in Oxford, Ohio, United States. It is home to the Miami RedHawks baseball team, who play at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The field, with a capacity of 1,000 spectators, opened on March 24, 2002, for a game against Purdue. The RedHawks lost 8–0 in the game, which was played in front of 1,178 spectators.In 2012, college baseball writer Eric Sorenson ranked the park the best small venue in Division I baseball.

Miami University (informally Miami of Ohio or simply Miami) is a public research university in Oxford, Ohio. The university was founded in 1809, making it the second-oldest university in Ohio (behind Ohio University, founded in 1804) and the 10th oldest public university (32nd overall) in the United States. Pugh's Mill Covered Bridge is a registered historic structure near Oxford, Ohio, listed in the National Register on 1975-06-05. This wooden bridge was built in 1869 over Four Mile (Talawanda) Creek and is one of two remaining covered bridges in Butler County, Ohio. The other is the Bebb Park or State Line covered bridge built in 1868.

The Henry Maltby House was a historic house near the campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, United States. Built in the 1850s, it was once home to a prominent minister in the community. Important partly for its architecture, it was eventually relegated to student housing before being demolished. Before its destruction, it was named a historic site. Born in 1806 in Paris, New York, Henry Maltby moved to Oxford in 1848, after serving churches in Louisville and Cincinnati. He became the minister of Oxford's First Presbyterian Church and then of the Third Presbyterian Church, at which he remained until 1856. During his time in Oxford, he helped to found the Oxford Female Institute, and he was one of the most prominent figures in what was then a largely Presbyterian community. Maltby built his house in 1852, and for many years after he left, it remained a single-family residence, although late in its history it was turned into apartments for Miami University students. It has since been destroyed.Built with wooden weatherboarded walls, the Maltby House had a frame structure, a stone foundation, and a shingled hip roof. Two stories tall, the house was divided into two bays on the front and three on the side. Extending across the whole width of the front was a porch with various Greek Revival details, including a large entablature under the cornice and fluted columns in the Doric order. The house was expanded at an unknown time by the addition of a small rear wing as well as a small bracketed roof over the side entrance.In 1976, the Maltby House was recorded by the Ohio Historic Inventory, a historic preservation program of the Ohio Historical Society. At that time, it was deemed eligible for addition to the National Register of Historic Places, and the surrounding neighborhood was considered a likely candidate for National Register historic district designation. Three years later, the house was added to the Register, qualifying because of its architecture, its place in local history, and its connection to Maltby. It remains on the Register, despite its destruction.

The Farmer School of Business (FSB) is the business school at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, offering on-campus undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as online graduate programs. The school and the Department of Accountancy are accredited by AACSB International. The FSB places an emphasis on experiential learning, international study and leadership development to prepare students to become leaders in the workplace and the community.

Laws Hall is a building at Miami University. Until 2009, the building was home to the School of Business Administration, hosting classes of accountancy, finance, economics, management, supply chain and marketing. The building is under construction and is being renovated to become a library for multiple schools at Miami University. Miami often renovates buildings after 40 years, which is one of the many reasons Laws Hall is under construction. The introduction of the Farmer School of Business made Laws Hall obsolete for the business school, and its purpose is being changed and discussed.

Herron Gymnasium was a gymnasium and classroom building on the Miami University campus in Oxford, Ohio. Later known as Van Voorhis Hall, it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in November 1979. Originally conceived in 1893, it was constructed in 1897 and named for John W. Herron, a Miami alumnus and Cincinnati judge. It was Miami University's first gymnasium, and would serve as the main recreational center until the construction of Withrow Court in 1932, which led Herron to become a women's gym. Except for an interlude during World War II when it served as a Navy barracks, it served as a women's gym until the construction of "New Herron" (now Phillips Hall) in 1962. In the late 20th century its use diminished to AFROTC and men's intramural sports, and the gymnasium was demolished in 1986 and replaced with a parking lot.

Elliott and Stoddard Halls are the two oldest remaining buildings on Miami University's Oxford Ohio campus today. Built in 1825 (Elliott) and 1836 (Stoddard), they were designed in the Federal style and modeled after Connecticut Hall at Yale University. They continue to be used as dormitory buildings, making them the two oldest college dormitories still in use in Ohio. They were the original dormitories on the campus and were built to house students who attended classes at Miami's campus. They have both been through a number of renovations, most recently in 2011. The dorms are located in between the two academic quads located in the center of Miami's campus. They face another landmark on the campus, the Miami University seal. Over time they have become landmarks on the campus and are considered two of the most prestigious dorms to live in. They are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, they house students in the Scholar Leaders program. The buildings are named for early Miami professors Charles Elliott and Orange Nash Stoddard. Phi Delta Theta fraternity was founded in Elliott Hall in 1848. Phi Kappa Tau founders William H. Shideler and Clinton D. Boyd lived together in the same room in Elliott at the time of their fraternity's founding in 1906. Both buildings were rebuilt in 1937 with the assistance of the Public Works Administration.In 2011, Elliott and Stoddard Halls became the first dorms at Miami to convert to geothermal energy instead of using the coal and natural gas steam system. The new system reduced the two buildings' energy consumption by 61 percent.

Austin–Magie Farm and Mill District is a registered historic district near Oxford, Ohio, listed in the National Register on December 21, 1982. It contains 5 contributing buildings. The farm, mill site and millrace are significant as they represent the intensive nineteenth century agricultural and processing activities in Butler County, Ohio. Between 1815–1916, the Austin–Pugh mills were an integral component of this area's industry and commerce. The main farmhouse, built 1841, is a solid embodiment of rural vernacular architecture, and the associated outbuildings enhance the agrarian setting. The limestone mill foundation and mile-long mill race are tangible evidence of Oxford Township's largest mill complex. Aaron Austin, builder of the house, and mill owned the property from 1815–1863.Subsequently, the property was acquired by David M. Magie, one of Ohio's most prominent stock farmers and swine breeders. As early as 1837 Magie had earned a reputation for his superior breed of swine. These large, well proportioned hogs, forerunners of the Poland China breed, were widely known as the "Magie Breed." Many agrarian historians consider the Poland China hog Ohio's greatest contribution to the breeding of fine livestock in the United States.
