's-Graveland

Kortenhoef is a village in North Holland, Netherlands with a population of about 6,780. It is an important part of the municipality of Wijdemeren, and lies about 5 km northwest of Hilversum. Kortenhoef was a separate municipality until 1966, when it was merged with 's-Graveland retaining the latter name; it merged with Loosdrecht and Nederhorst den Berg to form the new municipality of Wijdemeren in 2002.The village was first mentioned in 1235 as Curtenhoven, and means "short piece of land". It refers to the narrow plots of the peat excavation area. Kortenhoef developed in the 12th century as a linear settlement.The Dutch Reformed church is a single aisled church with needle spire. The tower and choir were built during the second half of the 14th century. The former town hall was built in Renaissance Revival style in 1910. It was extended in 1930.Kortenhoef was home to 534 people in 1840. Around 1900, it became a painter's village due to the landscape surrounding the village.

Trompenburgh is a 17th-century manor house in 's-Graveland, the Netherlands, designed by Daniël Stalpaert and built for Admiral Cornelis Tromp, one of the naval heroes of the Dutch Republic. The house is almost entirely surrounded by water and was built to resemble a ship, even with decks and railings. Before the current house was built another buitenplaats Sillisburgh had been built by Joan van Hellemondt The original house dates back to 1654. Through inheritance the house came into the possession of the widow of Van Hellemont Raephorst, who remarried on 25 January 1667, with Cornelis Tromp. The couple redecorated the estate considerably, but the house and their improvements were treasure looted and burned by the French during the rampjaar 1672.It was rebuilt from 1675 to 1684 by Tromp, who called it Sillisburgh, after one of his titles. Around 1720, Jacob Roeters came into possession of the estate and renamed it Trompenburgh. Roeters had a gilded plaque with an ode by Gerard Brandt in memory of Tromp installed over the entrance in 1725.

Ankeveen is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Wijdemeren, and lies about 5 km west of Bussum. The village was first mentioned in 1344 as Tankenveen, and means "peat excavation of Tanke (person)". Ankeveen is a stretched out peat concession village.The buitenplaats Berg en Vaart was built near Ankeveen between 1779 and 1782 by an Amsterdam wine merchant. It is surrounded by a large park designed in the 18th century.West of the village, there is a fen area, the Ankeveense Plassen which is a result of the peat excavation in the area.Until 1966, Ankeveen was a separate municipality. In 2002, it became part of the municipality of Wijdemeren.

Lakes is a defunct restaurant in Hilversum, Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2009 and retained that rating until 2014.in 2013, GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 14 out of 20 points.Head chef of Lakes was Erik de Boer, who opened the restaurant 5 September 2007. On 12 November, it was reported that head chef Erik de Boer had left the restaurant by 1 November 2013 due to a change of course of the restaurant. On 27 November 2013 the restaurant was declared bankrupt. The restaurant remained open, due to the restaurant being moved into a new limited company with the same owner. The restaurant is located in the former "Paviljoen Wildschut", once the hospitality building of the adjacent marina. The whole complex, compassing of a boathouse, hospitality unit, 2 staff residences and a terrace, was built in the period 1936–1938 to designs made by the well-known architect Willem Marinus Dudok. All parts of this complex are now Rijksmonument.

It is a part of the municipality of Wijdemeren, and lies about 8 km northwest of Hilversum. Overmeer used to be a separate village, but has now grown together with the town of Nederhorst den Berg.

It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1998 and retained that rating until 2020.On the loss of their star, they did receive a Bib Gourmand what they have retained until 2020.Spandershoeve was the first restaurant with an Indonesian styled kitchen to receive a Michelin star.Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 13 out of 20 points.Head chef of Spandershoeve is Timo Boerenkamp.Restaurant Spandershoeve was opened in 1972. In 1974, Anita Boerenkamp and her husband took over. For many years, including the Michelin star period, she was the head chef.

Mostly targetting a young audience, the station plays a mix of current dance, R&B, pop, and rock hits. The music selection is mainly based on the Dutch Top 40 chart. Its breakfast and drive-time shows are talk-intensive. The station was originally only accessible through cable. In 1998, Radio 538 upgraded their frequency package, allowing for different frequencies by region. Radio 538 launched the hip-hop and contemporary R&B program Juize, which developed into the radio station Juize FM in 2004. In 2011, Radio 538 created a sister television station called TV 538.

Nieuw-Loosdrecht is a village in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. It is a part of the town of Loosdrecht and the municipality of Wijdemeren. It lies about 4 km west of Hilversum. The village was first mentioned in 1415 as "optie aeker, dair nu die Zypkerc op staet". The current name means "new ferry over the drainage canal". Nieuw (new) has been added to distinguish from Oud-Loosdrecht.The Dutch Reformed Sijpe Church has built in 1400. Castle museum Sypesteyn has built 1911 and 1926 as a replica of the 1568 castle. The museum contains a large art collection. The castle is surrounded by a 17th century park.
