Kingseat Hospital (New Zealand)

Kingseat is a rural community between Karaka and Waiuku located on the Manukau Harbour in Auckland, New Zealand.

Seagrove was an airport located by Clarks Beach on the south shoreline of Manukau Harbour, New Zealand, near the small town of Waiuku.

Waiau Pa is a small town of Auckland, New Zealand. It is in the Franklin Ward of Auckland Council. The name means "River of swirling currents" in the Māori language.The Waiau Pa Presbyterian Church on the corner of McKenzie Road and Seagrove Road was built in 1914.The Taihiki River runs south and southwest of Waiau Pa, and the Manukau Harbour is to the north.

Patumāhoe is a small town of Auckland, New Zealand. It is in the Franklin Ward of Auckland Council. The name comes from the Māori patu māhoe, meaning "to strike or kill with a patu (club) made of wood from the māhoe plant".

Karaka is a small rural area in the south of Auckland, New Zealand. Formerly part of Franklin District and under the authority of the Franklin District Council, it is now part of Auckland Council (under the Franklin Local Board) following the amalgamation of the Auckland region's councils. To the west of Karaka is Kingseat, a small town where the former Kingseat Psychiatric Hospital was previously located. In 2005 the hospital was turned into a haunted attraction called Spookers.The area includes Karaka Lakes and Karaka Harbourside Estate.

Glenbrook Beach is a rural community at the northern end of a peninsula formed between the Waiuku River and Taihiki River in Auckland, New Zealand. Waiuku is 14 km south by road.The area is also known as Kawahai, after a species of fish which has been a substantial food source for the local Ngāti Te Ata iwi.Glenbrook Beach was first subdivided in the mid 1920s. Electric power supply was connected at the end of the decade.

Wesley College is a secondary school in Paerata, at the northern edge of Pukekohe, Auckland Region, New Zealand. The school provides education from year 9 to 13. The school was founded by members of the Methodist Church in 1844, making it one of the country's oldest schools. Initially located in Grafton and then the Three Kings area of Auckland, it closed in 1868 before reopening in 1876 in Three Kings again. From the beginning there was an emphasis on educating Maori boys, and also played a prominent role in educating students from countries of the South Pacific. In 1924 the school was moved to its current location of Paerata, near Pukekohe. In 1985 it was one of the first boys schools in New Zealand to admit girls at the senior level.

The Taihiki River is a river of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows generally northeast from its sources north of Patumahoe to reach the Waiuku River shortly before the latter's outflow into the Manukau Harbour. As with the Waiuku River, much of the Taihiki's length is as a wide silty estuary.

Clarks Beach is a small town of Auckland, New Zealand. It is in the former Franklin District local government area. Primarily a beachside rural town, situated within the Manukau Harbour, at the mouth of the Waiuku River, it fronts the harbour and is north facing. It is known as one of the few beaches where scallops can be collected by hand at low tide. About 50 ha immediately to the east of the existing town was rezoned to allow mixed housing in 2016. The Clarks Beach Waterfront Estate development started subsequently in 2019. Seagrove aerodrome operated near Clarks Beach during World War II.

Paerata is a small settlement immediately to the north of Pukekohe, in the North Island of New Zealand. It is located on State Highway 22 some 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the Manukau Harbour. Wesley College is located close to the northern edge of Paerata. The name Paerata is a Māori term meaning a hill ridge (pae) bedecked with rata trees. Paerata was served by the Paerata railway station for more than a century, until the station was closed. However in early 2021, KiwiRail confirmed a new railway station to be situated in Paerata Rise.Infrastructure New Zealand suggested in October 2017 that the land around Paerata could be used for a new city with initially 30,000 homes, and a population of 500,000 people by 2050.Paerata Rise, a 300-hectare development north of the settlement was opened in 2018 and is still being developed in stages. It is expected to be completed by 2040.

Weymouth, also known as Weymouth by the sea, is a southern suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is located adjacent to Clendon Park and Manurewa, some 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Auckland city centre, and is sited on a peninsula between the southeastern shore of the Manukau Harbour and that Harbour's Pahurehure Inlet. Weymouth is connected to the Auckland Southern Motorway via Mahia Road, an arterial route which cuts across the suburb's northeastern corner.
