Wootton House is a late 17th-century country house in Wootton, Bedfordshire, England. It is a Grade II* listed building.The house is built to a rectangular plan in two storeys, 8 bays by 5 bays, of stuccoed brick with a hipped tile roof. At the front is a central classical gabled porch with paired Doric pilasters.

Lower Shelton is a village in the civil parish of Marston Moreteyne in Bedfordshire, England. Near the top the road is crossed by a high voltage power line from Toddington switching station. The settlement is close to Cranfield, Stewartby and Marston Moreteyne. Upper Shelton (along with Lower Shelton) forms part of the Marston Moreteyne civil parish. The nearest large town to Upper Shelton is Bedford.

Box End (or Kempston Box End) is a small village located in the Borough of Bedford in Bedfordshire, England. It is in the civil parish of Kempston Rural. The settlement was historically one of the hamlets (or "Ends") of Kempston. Today, Box End forms part of the Kempston Rural civil parish. One of the village's historic structures is known as "Box End House." It was home to Captain Thomas Carter who sailed to the American colonies in the mid 17th Century. Carter landed on the coast of what is now the state of Georgia and settled around what is now known as the city of Americus. One of Carter's direct descendants is former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. There are now thousands of Carter descendants living across the U.S. continent. One of Captain Carter's direct descendants is American radio personality Dave Mitchell. Box End also has a wakeboard cable .

Wootton Broadmead Halt was a railway station on the Varsity Line which served the settlement of Wootton Broadmead near Stewartby in Bedfordshire, England. Opened in 1905, it was closed temporarily during both world wars and did not reopen after 1941, officially closing in 1952.
