Wootton House

Church of St Mary the Virgin is a Grade I listed church in Wootton, Bedfordshire, England. It became a listed building on July 13, 1964.The church is a member of the Evangelical Alliance and its Vicar is The Reverend Canon Doctor Peter Ackroyd.

Today, Wood End forms part of Kempston Rural, and is the southernmost settlement within the parish. Wood End is also close to Keeley Green, and Wootton.

Lower Shelton is a village in the civil parish of Marston Moreteyne in Bedfordshire, England. It is made of Lower Shelton Road, Stratford Way, The Rickyard, Franklin Close and Chequers Close and another small close known locally as "The jetty" although there is no water in view. The area is made up of many sizes and types of houses of differing ages. Shelton Manor is located halfway between the A421 and Upper Shelton and located close to the disused Shelton Farm. The road is in a rural setting between fields with views of Lidlington and the ancient church of Marston Moreteyne. Near the top the road is crossed by a high voltage power line from Toddington switching station. The last main housing estate to be built within the village was The Rickyard, which was completed in 2005.

Upper Shelton is a hamlet in the civil parish of Marston Moreteyne, in the Central Bedfordshire district of Bedfordshire, England. Upper Shelton contains a public house called "The Exhibition" (with a trojan horse in its back garden). There is also a lower school called "Shelton Lower School", and a butchers shop, village farm, and several bed and breakfast establishments. The settlement is close to Cranfield, Stewartby and Marston Moreteyne. Upper Shelton (along with Lower Shelton) forms part of the Marston Moreteyne civil parish. The nearest large town to Upper Shelton is Bedford.

Box End (or Kempston Box End) is a small village located in the Borough of Bedford in Bedfordshire, England. It is in the civil parish of Kempston Rural. The settlement was historically one of the hamlets (or "Ends") of Kempston. Today, Box End forms part of the Kempston Rural civil parish. One of the village's historic structures is known as "Box End House." It was home to Captain Thomas Carter who sailed to the American colonies in the mid 17th Century. Carter landed on the coast of what is now the state of Georgia and settled around what is now known as the city of Americus. One of Carter's direct descendants is former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. There are now thousands of Carter descendants living across the U.S. continent. One of Captain Carter's direct descendants is American radio personality Dave Mitchell. Box End also has a wakeboard cable .

Kimberley College (also known as STEM College) is a free school sixth form centre that opened in Stewartby, Bedfordshire, England in April 2014. The college is operated by Wootton Academy Trust, who also operate Wootton Upper School.Kimberley College specialises in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and offers a range of A levels and BTECs related to the specialisms. The college accepts students from Bedford, Bletchley and Milton Keynes, as well as the villages in between these areas.

Wootton Broadmead Halt was a railway station on the Varsity Line which served the settlement of Wootton Broadmead near Stewartby in Bedfordshire, England. Opened in 1905, it was closed temporarily during both world wars and did not reopen after 1941, officially closing in 1952.

Stewartby railway station is a station on the London Northwestern Railway, which serves the Bedfordshire village of Stewartby in England. It is the nearest station to the Marston Vale Millennium Country Park.
