Neustrelitz Hauptbahnhof

Neustrelitz (German: [nɔʏˈʃtʁeːlɪts] ; East Low German: Niegenstrelitz) is a town in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is situated on the shore of the Zierker See in the Mecklenburg Lake District. From 1738 until 1918 it was the capital of the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. From 1994 until 2011 it was the capital of the district of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The name Strelitz is derived from the Polabian word Strelci, meaning "archers" or "shooters".

The Neustrelitz Palace (German: Schloss Neustrelitz) in Neustrelitz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany was a princely palace, which mostly served as the main residence of the Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The palace was destroyed during World War II and was not reconstructed, although possible. Only the park remains today.

Neustrelitz-Land is an Amt in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The seat of the Amt is in Neustrelitz, itself not part of the Amt. The Immergut Festival is a yearly music festival in Germany in Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The first edition was organised in 2000. The festival focuses mainly on indie rock and is one of the largest festivals in Germany for this genre.

Zierker See is a lake in the Mecklenburg Lake District, in Germany. It is situated in the district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The town of Neustrelitz lies at the northern end of the lake. The lake is at an elevation of 59 metres (194 ft) and has a surface area is 3.47 square kilometres (1.34 sq mi). The lake is navigable from Neustrelitz to its southern end, where it meets the Kammer Canal, and navigation is administered as part of the Obere–Havel–Wasserstraße. The Kammer Canal links the Zierker See to the Woblitzsee, allowing vessels to reach the River Havel, which flows through the Woblitzsee.

Stendlitz is a river of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Four Kilometers from its source in a wetland named Moosbruch, it passes Domjüchsee. From there it passes through Strelitz-Alt, where it is led in culverts. It discharges into a canal and river named Floßgraben in Lake Tiefer Trebbower See near Klein Trebbow.

The Kammer Canal, or Kammerkanal in German, is a canal in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It links the lakes of Woblitzsee and Zierker See, thus providing a navigable route between the River Havel, which flows through the Woblitzsee, and the town of Neustrelitz, which is on the Zierker See.The canal has a length of 5.2 kilometres (3.2 mi) and has a single lock at Vosswinkel, with a vertical rise of 1.8 metres (5 ft 11 in). It is administered as part of the Obere–Havel–Wasserstraße.

Mürtzsee is a lake in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. At an elevation of 70.7 m, its surface area is 0.252 km2.

Hohenzieritz is a municipality in the district Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz died here in 1810.
