Steeton is a village in the City of Bradford metropolitan borough, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-east from Skipton, 3 miles (5 km) north-west from Keighley and just south of the A629 road. The village is part of Steeton with Eastburn civil parish.

Airedale General Hospital is an NHS district General Hospital based in Steeton with Eastburn, West Yorkshire, England and is operated by the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. Airedale was opened for patients in July 1970 and officially opened by the Prince of Wales on 11 December of the same year. The hospital covers a wide area including Keighley, Skipton and parts of the Yorkshire Dales and eastern Lancashire. As of 2021, the hospital had links for neurosurgical emergencies with Leeds General Infirmary. The hospital provides approximately 324 beds.

The road through Eastburn is approximately 1/2 mile long with a post office, fish and chip shop and a public house called The NightingGale; The village also contains a school (Eastburn Junior & Infant School), a small chapel, a farm, a factory (Cinetic Landis Ltd) and a former mill building which houses many business, including a fitness centre and furniture showroom.

Laycock is a small village in the Bradford District of West Yorkshire that overlooks the hamlet of Goose Eye. The village is 1.9 miles (3 km) west of the town of Keighley and 1.2 miles (2 km) north of Oakworth village. The village is in the council ward of Keighley West.

Carlton Keighley (formerly Greenhead Grammar School, Greenhead High School and then University Academy Keighley) is a coeducational secondary school located in Utley (a suburb of Keighley), in the English county of West Yorkshire.Previously a community school administered by Bradford City Council, Greenhead High School converted to academy status in September 2010 and was renamed University Academy Keighley. The school was then sponsored by the University of Bradford and Bradford City Council. It became part of the Bradford based Carlton Academy Trust in 2022 and was renamed Carlton Keighley. Carlton Keighley offers GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals as programmes of study for pupils. Facilities at the school are also available for use by the local community outside school hours.

The Holy Family Catholic School is a coeducational Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form serving the parishes and communities in and around the districts of Keighley, Haworth, and Skipton in West Yorkshire, England.The school opened in May 1965. The school celebrated its 50th birthday in 2015.Previously a voluntary aided school administered by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, in August 2022 The Holy Family Catholic School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust. the school continues to be under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Leeds.
