Gregg Township is a township in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,287 at the 2020 census.

Penns Valley is an eroded anticlinal valley of the Pennsylvania ridge and valley geologic region of the Appalachian Mountain range. The valley is located in southern Centre County, Pennsylvania. Along with the Nittany Valley to the north and east, it is part of the larger Nittany Anticlinorium. It is bordered by Mount Nittany to the north, the Seven Mountains range to the south, and connects to the larger Nittany Valley to the west. There are two smaller subordinate valleys typically associated with the greater valley: Georges Valley in the south, separated by Egg Hill, and Brush Valley in the north, separated by Brush Mountain.

Bald Eagle State Forest is a Pennsylvania state forest in Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry District #7. The main office is located in Laurelton in Union County, Pennsylvania. The forest is found in Centre, Clinton, Mifflin, Snyder, and Union Counties. Bald Eagle shares a common border on its western extent with Rothrock State Forest and on its northern extent with Tiadaghton State Forest. Five Pennsylvania State Parks are contained within the forest: Poe Valley, Poe Paddy, R. B. Winter, Reeds Gap, and Sand Bridge, as well as two former state parks: Snyder-Middleswarth Natural Area (formerly Snyder-Middleswarth State Park) and Hairy Johns Picnic Area (formerly a state park known as both "Hairy John's State Forest Park" and "Voneida State Forest Park").

Potter Township is a township in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,614 at the 2020 census.

Penn's Cave House is an historic, American structure. Used as a hotel from 1885 into the early 1900s, it is part of the Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park that is located in Gregg Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. Now used strictly for the offices of Penn's Cave, Inc., it has not offered overnight or hotel accommodations since 1919. This property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Egg Hill Church is a historic church located at Potter Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1860, and is a one-story, banked building built of pine on a stone foundation. It measures 35 feet wide and 42 feet long. Regular services at the church were suspended in 1927. The church is located at the southwest end of Egg Hill. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Daniel Waggoner Log House and Barn is a historic home and barn located at Potter Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. The log house was built about 1809, and is a two-story dwelling with a gable roof, measuring 32 feet by 28 feet. Also on the property is a contributing log barn, also built about 1809.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Penns Cave Airport (IATA: N74) is an airport located next to Penn's Cave near Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. It is open for visitors to the Penn's Cave attraction.

Centre Hall is a borough in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in Penns Valley and is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,265 at the 2010 census, which is a 17.2% increase from the 2000 census.[1] Centre Hall was so named on account of its location near the geographical center of Penns Valley.

Egg Hill is an elongate hill trending northeast–southwest in southern Centre County, Pennsylvania. It is mostly forested and uninhabited. Sinking Creek flows northeastward along the northern foot of Egg Hill. The town of Spring Mills is located at the northeastern end.The historic Egg Hill Church is located at the southwestern end of the hill.

Karoondinha Music & Arts Festival was a music festival which was to be held at Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. The festival was officially announced on December 9, 2016. The inaugural festival's full lineup was unveiled May 2, 2017, and featured Chance the Rapper, John Legend, ODESZA, Paramore, and Sturgill Simpson as headliners. On June 27, 2017 the festival's official website and social media went dark signaling the festival had been cancelled. Compounded with the festival's reported financial struggles, an overarching factor in the closing of the festival was a result of the May 22nd terrorist attack of an Ariana Grande concert in London. Many consumers feared the possibility of a similar attack taking place at the venue in Penn's Cave, forcing ticket sales to plummet, and subsequently, contributing to the cancellation of the festival.

The Grange Fair is an annual fair and camping event held in Centre Hall in Centre County, Pennsylvania each year since 1874. The fair is typically held in the last full week of August. On the last day of 140th Grange Fair, it was announced that the 2015 Grange Fair would be moving a week earlier and adding 1 day, with the fair going from 7 days to 9 days. No fairs were held in 1917–18, 1942–45 nor 2020. The 2005 Emmy awarding winning documentary film The Grange Fair: An American Tradition directed by Joe Myers chronicles the 131st Grange Fair.
