KBEM-FM (88.5 FM, "Jazz88") is a Minneapolis, Minnesota public radio station broadcasting a jazz format. The station is operated by the Minneapolis public school system and has been partnering since 1989 with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT), providing traffic congestion reports for commuters in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. KBEM also broadcasts live headliner performances from the Twin Cities Jazz Festival each June. KBEM is a member of Minnesota's AMPERS network. KBEM's studios are located on James Avenue North in Minneapolis, while its transmitter is located in Falcon Heights.

Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium is located in Falcon Heights on the Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. It is primarily used as the home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's soccer team. The stadium opened in 1999 and seats 1,000.The stadium is named after Elizabeth Lyle Robbie, who was the wife of Joe Robbie, former owner of the Miami Dolphins. The Robbie family was originally from South Dakota, but lived a number of years in Minneapolis. Elizabeth was the first female owner of a professional sports franchise in the United States, as she owned the Miami Toros / Minnesota Strikers soccer team in the 1970s and 1980s.Prior to Robbie Stadium, the school played home games from 1993 to 1998 at the St. Paul Campus Soccer Field, also located in Falcon Heights.

The Gibbs Farm is a museum in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, United States. The site was once the farmstead of Heman Gibbs and Jane DeBow, first built in 1854; the existing farmhouse includes the small, original cabin. The museum seeks to educate visitors on the lives of 19th-century Minnesota pioneers and the Dakota people who lived in southern Minnesota before the arrival of Europeans. In 1974 the farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The listing consists of the farmhouse and barn, as the other museum structures are not original to the site.

The Bell Museum, formerly known as the James Ford Bell Museum of Natural History, is located at the University of Minnesota. The museum's new location on the St. Paul campus opened July 13–15, 2018. The world-renowned Minnesota wildlife dioramas, numerous animal specimens from all over the world, and the 120-seat digital Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium theater are highlighted features of the new facility. The museum's former location in Minneapolis is closed as the work to move to the University of Minnesota's St. Paul campus began in January 2017. The museum is part of the University's College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.

Les Bolstad Golf Course is a golf course owned by the University of Minnesota. The course is located in Falcon Heights, Minnesota on the "St. Paul" campus of the University. The school's cross country teams use it to hold meets, including the Roy Griak Invitational.The school's golf teams now hold matches off campus in Blaine, Minnesota at the TPC Twin Cities (Tournament Players Club of the Twin Cities).

University Grove is a neighborhood of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, known for its 103 homes individually designed by architects. Owners have been required to use an architect since the neighborhood's creation by the University of Minnesota in 1928 to recruit and retain faculty; there is also a cap on costs, ensuring that homes would be of similar size.: 205  To balance the individuality of professors/administrators while keeping the properties in the intended group of buyers, each faculty/staff person owns the homes while the university owns the land upon which the home is situated and the faculty/staff person pays rent annually for that land use. The university retains title to the land.The neighborhood is now especially known for a large collection of homes built in the modern style. The New York Times called University Grove a “living time capsule of vernacular modern architecture in America”. The original landscape plan is by Morel and Nichols. The Grove boasts excellent examples of residential architecture from architects such as Ralph Rapson, Winston and Elizabeth Close, Edwin Hugh Lundie, and Richard Hammel.: 209 The neighborhood continues to mostly house the university community.

The Goldstein Museum of Design (GMD) is a museum on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. It is part of the University’s College of Design. GMD was founded in 1976 and is the only museum in the Upper Midwest specializing in designed objects.The museum holds around 34,000 objects, about 21,000 of those relating to costume and fashion accessories. GMD promotes object-based learning and the collection is available as a teaching and study resource to students and faculty at the university, professional designers, special interest groups, members of the public, and the local community. Most of GMD's collection was acquired through donation, often from Minnesota residents. About 20% of the collection has been digitally photographed and is available to view on-line.

The University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) is a professional school of the University of Minnesota based at its Saint Paul Campus. The school offers applied graduate and undergraduate degrees, professional development certificates, practical-knowledge conferences and individualized degrees.The College changed its name from the College of Continuing Education (CCE) in October, 2017 "to better reflect our mission, which is to provide opportunities for people to enhance their academic credentials, to advance their careers through professional courses, and to continue to learn across their lifespan through enrichment activities".The General Extension Division (as it was originally named) was founded in 1913 University President George Edgar Vincent, to provide ongoing education to adult learners. Over the years since then it has had various names including the College of Continuing Education and Extension, and University College. Throughout the years, the mission has remained the same: to provide for the educational needs of the people of Minnesota.The College of Continuing and Professional Studies is also home to Radio K, the student-run radio station of the University of Minnesota. Radio K serves listeners in Minneapolis-St. Paul and around the globe through online streaming and multiple broadcast channels: 770AM, 100.7FM, 104.5FM, and 106.5FM.

The College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) is one of seventeen colleges and professional schools at the University of Minnesota. The college offers 13 majors, 3 pre-major and pre-professional majors and 26 freestanding minors for undergraduate students and a variety of graduate study options that include master's, doctoral and joint degree programs.

The Polar Geospatial Center is a research center at the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering funded by the National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs. Founded in 2007, the Polar Geospatial Center "provides geospatial support, mapping, and GIS/remote sensing solutions to researchers and logistics groups in the polar science community." It is currently directed by Paul Morin.

The Norway Lutheran Church or Old Muskego Church stands on the edge of the campus of Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
