The Indianapolis Art Center is an art center located in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The center, founded in 1934 by the Works Project Administration during the Great Depression as the Indianapolis Art League, is located along the White River. It features fine art exhibitions, art classes and studios, a library with over 5,000 titles, and the ARTSPARK nature and art parks. As of 2008 the Indianapolis Art Center featured over 50 annual exhibitions and had over 3,000 members.

Arden is an affluent residential neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The neighborhood is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Indianapolis. It is bounded by 71st Street on the north, Meridian Street on the west, College Avenue on the east, and the White River on the south. Arden is north of the Broad Ripple Village neighborhood and south of the community of Meridian Hills.

Broad Ripple Firehouse–Indianapolis Fire Department Station 32 is a historic fire station located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1922, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, cross plan, Tudor Revival style brown brick building. It features a jerkinhead roof with deep overhanging eaves and a double peak, half-timbered gable. An addition was constructed in 1980.: 3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Washington Township is one of the nine townships of Marion County, Indiana, located in the northern part of the county. The township is entirely within the city of Indianapolis. The population as of the 2010 census was 132,049. The first settlement at Washington Township was made in 1819.On January 1, 2007, the Washington Township Fire Department became the first township fire department in Marion County to consolidate into the Indianapolis Fire Department as part of Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson's proposed Indy Works government cost-savings plan, even though Indy Works, which included merging of Marion County fire departments as part of its cost saving efforts, failed to pass in the City-County Council.

Park Tudor School is a coeducational independent college preparatory day school founded in 1902. It offers programs from junior kindergarten through high school. It is located in the Meridian Hills neighborhood of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. A merger of Tudor Hall School for Girls (founded in 1902) and the all-male Park School (founded in 1914) formed the present-day school in 1970.

Broad Ripple Magnet High School for the Arts & Humanities, established in 1886, was a magnet school of the Indianapolis Public Schools. It was closed as a public high school in 2018, but continued to be used as both an administrative building and a host for a Purdue University charter school. The building is planned to reopen again for the 2024-25 school year as the new public Broad Ripple Middle School.

Foster Hall, also known as Melodeon Hall, is located on the campus of Park Tudor School at 7200 N. College Ave. in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Tudor Revival style building was designed by Robert Frost Daggett and built in 1927. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, stone building with a steeply pitched slate gable roof with seven gables. It features leaded glass windows and sits on a raise basement. It was built for Josiah K. Lilly Sr. (1861-1948) to house his collection of Stephen Foster materials and serves the community as a reception, concert, and meeting facility.: 5 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation is a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue located at 6501 North Meridian Street, in Indianapolis, Indiana, in the United States. It is the oldest synagogue in Indianapolis.

Meridian Hills is a town in Washington Township, Marion County, Indiana, about 8 miles (13 km) north of downtown Indianapolis. It had a population of 1,774 at the 2020 census, up from 1,616 in 2010.

Ravenswood is located north of Broad Ripple Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, between 71st and 75th Street, and between Keystone Avenue and White River. In 1913, a flood caused the river channel to change its course slightly affecting the Beach near the Yacht Club. In the early 20th century, Ravenswood was a lively resort area with few permanent residents. In the mid-1940s, the local Volunteer Fire Department had an annual fish fry and weekly movies on the beach. Flooding was a problem but locals coped with it until the late 1960s when development north of the town dredged holding ponds and opened up the channel near the Yacht Club to Williams Creek.
