St. Peter's Dome is a granite-topped peak on Pikes Peak massif in the Pike National Forest. The peak, at 9,528 feet (2,904 m) in elevation, is located in El Paso County, Colorado, above Colorado Springs. It is located about 8 miles (13 km) from Colorado Springs along Old Stage and Gold Camp Roads. Old Stage Road is picked up behind The Broadmoor and Gold Camp Road winds through Cheyenne Canyon.The St. Peter's Dome mining district, also called the Cheyenne District, has been operational since 1910. In the early 20th century, trains stopped at the St. Peter's Dome for the trip between Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs. Tourists had picnics, hiked, and camped in the area.

KJCS-LD, virtual channel 38 (UHF digital channel 14), is a low-power religious television station licensed to Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Between 1998 and 2011, it rebroadcast Daystar. As of December 2012, it is in digital, and simulcasting Denver's KDEO-LD (channel 23) and its subchannels; along with that station, it was sold by Catholic Television Apostolate to Simchat Torah Beit Midrash in 2015. In 2019, KJCS moved from channel 38 to channel 14. The transmitter is located near the peak of Almagre Mountain South, at an elevation of approximately 12,340 feet.

Silver Cascade Falls is a waterfall located on St. Mary's Creek in the North Cheyenne Cañon Park of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The falls have an interesting spout feature about 50 feet (15 m) below the crest due to an upturn in the rock face. During high flow times, the spout can shoot water over 10 feet (3 m) off the rock face. The water running over Silver Cascade originates in Buffalo Canyon, passing over St. Mary's Falls and Silver Cascade Falls before merging with North Cheyenne Creek down stream of Helen Hunt Falls.

Helen Hunt Falls is a waterfall located on Cheyenne Creek in the North Cheyenne Cañon Park of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The falls are located on North Cheyenne Creek immediately off North Cheyenne Canyon Road in the North Cheyenne Canyon Park. There is parking for about 30 vehicles at the falls and it becomes crowded early during summer months when visits to the canyon are popular among locals and tourists. The Columbine Trail, which starts at the entrance of the Park by the Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center, terminates at Helen Hunt Falls. Visitors can hike a short distance of about 2/3 of a mile (1.1 km) up a moderately steep trail above Helen Hunt Falls to reach Silver Cascade Falls. The falls are named in honor of Helen Maria Hunt Jackson (October 15, 1830 – August 12, 1885), a United States poet and writer who became an activist on behalf of improved treatment of Native Americans by the U.S. government. She died in San Francisco, California in 1885 and was later buried in Colorado Springs.

Seven Lakes is an abandoned, historically populated place in Teller County, Colorado, on the Pikes Peak mountain. It was once the site of the Seven Lakes Hotel along a carriage road to the summit of Pikes Peak. Its waters flow from Beaver Creek to the Lake Moraine reservoir, a supplier of water to Colorado Springs.

Cheyenne Mountain is a triple-peaked mountain in El Paso County, Colorado, southwest of downtown Colorado Springs. The mountain serves as a host for military, communications, recreational, and residential functions. The underground operations center for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) was built during the Cold War to monitor North American airspace for missile launches and Soviet military aircraft. Built deep within granite, it was designed to withstand the impact and fallout from a nuclear bomb. Its function broadened with the end of the Cold War, and then many of its functions were transferred to Peterson Air Force Base in 2006. Homesteading on the mountain began in 1867 and the mountain was the site of resorts and retreats beginning in the 1880s. Spencer Penrose, who built The Broadmoor in 1918, bought many of the properties on the mountain and built the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cheyenne Mountain Highway, Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun, a lodge on one of the mountain peaks, and a retreat at Emerald Valley. The site of the lodge has become a wilderness Cloud Camp and Emerald Valley is now the site of The Broadmoor's Ranch at Emerald Valley. Land on Cheyenne Mountain that had once been owned by The Broadmoor is now the site of luxury homes. A community, Overlook Colony, that began in 1911 still resides on the mountain. The two parks on and at the base of Cheyenne Mountain are Cheyenne Mountain State Park and North Cheyenne Cañon Park. A noticeable feature on the top of one of Cheyenne Mountain's peaks is an antenna farm with transmitters for cellular phone, radio, television, and law enforcement purposes.

The Broadmoor Seven Falls is a series of seven cascading waterfalls of South Cheyenne Creek in South Cheyenne Cañon, Colorado Springs, Colorado. It has been a privately-owned tourist attraction since it was opened in the early 1880s. There is no parking at Seven Falls. Round trip shuttle service is provided from the Norris Penrose Event Center. Trails from the top of the falls lead to Midnight Falls, near the headwaters of South Cheyenne Creek, and Inspiration Point.

North Cheyenne Cañon Park or North Cheyenne Canyon Park is a regional park located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is a National Register of Historic Places listing.It was also called Colorado College Park and Cheyenne Park.

KZCS-LD (channel 18) is a low-power television station in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States, airing programming from the digital multicast network Ion Mystery. It is owned and operated by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside Pueblo-licensed NBC affiliate KOAA-TV (channel 5). KZCS-LD's transmitter is located on Cheyenne Mountain. Master control and most internal operations are based at the studios of ABC affiliate KMGH-TV (channel 7) on East Speer Boulevard in Denver's Congress Park neighborhood (the Federal Communications Commission [FCC] considers KMGH-TV as the parent license of KZCS-LD).

KKFM (98.1 FM) is a radio station out of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. It plays a classic rock format and is under ownership of Cumulus Media. KKFM originally broadcast at 96.5 FM. In 1986, KKFM changed from playing contemporary hit radio to playing "Colorado Classics" (including album-oriented rock). It switched to 98.1 at 5:30 a.m. on September 14, 1992, allowing two new stations to sign on: KBIQ (now KIBT) 96.1 in Colorado Springs, and KXPK 96.5 in Denver.The station features mornings with The Bob & Tom Show, Chuck Squire middays, and Tron at nights. Weekends including programming from Alice Cooper Saturday Nights, Sammy Hagar and Matt Pinfield on Sunday, and the KKFM New Music Pipeline featuring new songs by classic rock artists on Sunday night has left the building along with JP.KKFM is now the classic rock leader in Colorado Springs, after former competitor KYZX transitioned out of its classic rock format to alternative from 2008 till 2009.

The transmitter is located on Cheyenne Mountain amid other TV and FM towers for stations in the Colorado Springs-Pueblo market.
