Netphen (German pronunciation: [ˈnɛtfən]) is a town in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies on the river Sieg, roughly 7 km northeast of Siegen.

St. Martin's Church (German: Martinikirche) is a 13th-century three-nave hall church located in Netphen, Germany. Apart from St. Nicholas' Church in Siegen, it is the most significant Romanesque edifice in Siegerland. The earliest documentary evidence of its existence dates back to 1239AD. It constituted one of the earliest parishes in Siegerland and remains the active centre of the Protestant Reformed Church of Netphen. Services in St. Martin's are celebrated every Sunday at 10.00am in the German language.

The Hofbachstadion, a stadium with a capacity of nearly 10.000 spectators is located in Geisweid and hosts the home matches of the local football-club VfL Klafeld-Geisweid.

Siegen (German pronunciation: [ˈziːɡn̩] ) is a city in Germany, in the south Westphalian part of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein in the Arnsberg region. The university town (nearly 20,000 students in the 2018–2019 winter semester) is the district seat, and is ranked as a "higher centre" in the South Westphalian urban agglomeration. In 1975, municipal reforms and amalgamations lifted Siegen's population above the 100,000 mark.
