Wizards of the Coast LLC (often referred to as WotC or simply Wizards) is an American publisher of games, primarily based on fantasy and science fiction themes, and formerly an operator of retail stores for games. It is currently a subsidiary of Hasbro, which acquired the company in 1999. During a February 2021 reorganization at Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast became the lead part of the new "Wizards & Digital" division.Originally a role-playing game publisher, the company originated and popularized the collectible card game genre with Magic: The Gathering in the mid-1990s. It also acquired the popular Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game by buying TSR and increased its success by publishing the licensed Pokémon Trading Card Game. The company's corporate headquarters are located in Renton, Washington, part of the Seattle metropolitan area.Wizards of the Coast publishes role-playing games, board games, and collectible card games. They have received numerous awards, including several Origins Awards. The company also produced sports cards sets, releasing association football, baseball, basketball and American football series.

Renton High School is a public secondary school (grades 9–12) in downtown Renton, Washington, U.S., about 10 miles southeast of downtown Seattle. Founded in 1911, it is the oldest high school in the Renton School District.

The F. W. Woolworth Company Store Renton is a commercial building in Renton, Washington. Built in 1954, it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2015 for its direct association with growth and development of downtown Renton, and for its connection to the national five-and dime chain store, F.W. Woolworth Company. The building is now a Western Wear store.

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) is the governing body of athletics and activities for secondary education schools in the state of Washington. As of February 2011, the private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization consists of nearly 800 member high schools and middle/junior high schools, both public and private.

The Renton History Museum is a repository for objects and archives significant to the city of Renton in the state of Washington, United States. The museum has objects and archives of Renton’s history and has exhibits and public programs for the community and visitors. It is a joint initiative between the city of Renton and the Renton Historical Society, a non-profit organization providing private sector support for the museum. The institution states that its "mission is to preserve, document, interpret, and educate about the history of greater Renton in ways that are accessible to diverse people of all ages." The museum's vision is phrased "Capture the Past, Educate the Present, Inspire the Future." Presently, it is the only heritage organization in the city of Renton.

The Renton Public Library is the King County Library System (KCLS) branch library in Renton, Washington, in the United States. It was a city library between its construction in 1966 and 2010, when it was one of the last three non-KCLS members in the county outside of Seattle and it was incorporated into KCLS after what may have been "the most contentious annexation fight in the system's 71 years".

Longacres was a Thoroughbred horse racetrack in Renton, Washington, United States. Owned by the Gottstein/Alhadeff family and operated by the Washington Jockey Club for the vast majority of its existence, the racetrack was the home of Thoroughbred racing in Western Washington from its opening in 1933 and was the longest continuously running track on the West Coast upon its closure. Until 1971, it was also the only place in Western Washington where gambling was legal. Notable races held at the racetrack include the Longacres Mile Handicap and the Gottstein Futurity. After several years of losses due to increasing gambling and entertainment competition, the property was sold to Boeing in 1990. Boeing allowed the track to operate for two more years after the sale until the end of the 1992 season; the company demolished its structures in 1995. Boeing eventually built a new headquarters for its Commercial Airplanes division on the property along with a customer-training center; however, the company vacated the property and sold it in 2021 to Unico Partners. Seattle Sounders FC, in partnership with Unico, plans to renovate the site for use as a training facility; it is projected to open in January 2024.

The Cedar River Regional Trail is a partially paved 17.3-mile (27.8 km) rail trail in Washington. The Cedar River Trail was the former mainline of the Milwaukee Road. It is open for non-motorized use and parallels State Route 169 for much of its length. It connects Renton to Maple Valley. In Maple Valley it connects to the Cedar to Green River Trail at mile 12.3. Beyond Maple Valley the surface is crushed gravel, and the trail ends in Landsburg near a small dam and the boundary of the Cedar River Watershed.A bridge on the trail parallel to State Route 169 in Maple Valley recently underwent a renovation, and is now re-opened to foot, bike, and equestrian traffic.

Tukwila station is a train station in Tukwila, Washington, United States. The station was built by Sound Transit to serve its Sounder commuter rail service on Line S, as well as Amtrak's intercity Cascades line. It includes 390 parking spaces and a bus platform served by King County Metro's RapidRide F Line and other routes. Tukwila station was approved for construction in 1996 and an interim station opened on March 12, 2001, using temporary platforms and a leased parking lot. Construction of a permanent station was delayed until additional funding was found and further design work was completed. The $46 million project was approved by the federal government in 2011 and began construction in 2013. It was dedicated on February 18, 2015, featuring new platforms, additional parking, bicycle amenities, and public art.

Bryn Mawr-Skyway (pronounced from Welsh for "big hill") is a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 17,397 at the 2020 census.Bryn Mawr-Skyway was the only CDP in the Seattle metropolitan area to have reported a majority-minority population in the 2000 census. Since that time, the area has grown even more diverse. As of the 2010 census, the cultural makeup of the Skyway area is almost evenly balanced between White, Black or African American, and Asian community members.

The Interurban Trail South is a rail trail in King and Pierce counties, Washington. The interurban trail North is a bicycle route running from Downtown Seattle through Shoreline and to the Snohomish County, Washington line. The Interurban Trail South is a partially paved 14-mile (23 km) recreational trail open for non-motorized use. It connects Tukwila to Pacific, and the towns of Kent, Auburn, and Algona along the way. Additionally, the Cities of Edgewood and Milton have completed and opened paved segments of the Interurban trail that are not yet connected to the main segment from Tukwila to Pacific, and the City of Fife has a short segment now under construction. When planned construction is completed to close the gaps in Pacific, Edgewood, and Milton, the trail will extend from Tukwila to Fife. The trail occupies an abandoned Puget Sound Electric Railway corridor and connects to the Green River Trail. In addition to the main line of the Interurban trail between Tukwila and Fife the Interurban Trail will connect to the planned northerly extension of the Foothills Trail through Puyallup and Sumner. When that connection is completed, a continuous trail will extend south through Pacific, across the county line into Sumner and Puyallup where it will connect with the existing Pierce County Foothills Trail to South Prairie and the planned extension of the Foothills trail to Buckley and Enumclaw. The Interurban Trail North begins as a signed bicycle route in downtown Seattle running through the Fremont neighborhood, through Phinney Ridge and Greenwood, to 110th and Fremont where it becomes a paved rail trail until 128th and Linden where it will become a cycletrack to the City of Shoreline Border. At the City of Shoreline the route becomes a wide non-motorized route for 3 miles until the Snohomish County line.

The Will Rogers–Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base (FAA LID: W36) is a seaplane base in Washington state. It is owned and operated by the city of Renton and located on Lake Washington at the northwest corner of Renton Municipal Airport, inside the latter's perimeter fence. The base was named after actor Will Rogers and aviator Wiley Post who took off from the water landing at the beginning of a trip to Alaska, during which they were ultimately killed in an air crash.
