Unna-Königsborn station

Unna station is the main passenger station in the Westphalian city of Unna in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The other stations in the city that are served by regular passenger services are Unna-Königsborn, Unna West, Massen, Lünern and Hemmerde.

Unna (German pronunciation: [ˈʊna] (listen)) is a city of around 59,000 people in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the seat of the Unna district. The newly refurbished Unna station has trains to all major cities in North Rhine Westphalia including Dortmund, Cologne, Münster, Hamm, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. There is also the Regional-Express 7 (Rhein-Münsterland-Express), which runs from Rheine via Cologne to Krefeld.

Unna West is a railway station in the Unna district of Massen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station. It was opened on 3 June 1984 on the Fröndenberg–Kamen railway completed between Unna and Unna-Königsborn by the Prussian state railways on 1 April 1900 and electrified on 25 May 1984.It is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 4 at 30-minute intervals.The station is also served by bus routes C41 (Unna + Massen - Holzwickede - Dortmund Airport) and R51 (Unna + Massen - Wickede - Holzwickede - Opherdicke) of Verkehrsgesellschaft Kreis Unna, both at 60-minute intervals.

Kamen station is a station in the city of Kamen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Dortmund–Hamm railway. The line has only two tracks through Kamen, although quadruplication is planned, but its realisation is far away. Kamen station is an architectural monument built by the Cologne-Minden Railway Company in 1847. It was extensively refurbished in the late 1990s as part of a project called Internationale Bauausstellung (international building exhibition) Emscher Park and a bike parking area (one of the first in North Rhine-Westphalia) was built.

Bochum-Riemke station (German: Haltepunkt Bochum-Riemke) is a railway station in the municipality of Bochum, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The station has two side platforms, and is served by 80 Glückauf-Bahn regional trains per day (half of that on weekends). In addition, many freight trains run on the route, especially at night. It was originally named Bochum-Graetz, then Bochum-Nokia from 1993 to 2009.

The Kamener Kreuz was formerly a full cloverleaf interchange near Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia Germany where the Autobahnen A1 and A2 meet. It lies between the towns of Kamen and Bergkamen in the west and the city of Hamm and the municipality Bönen in the east. The Kamener Kreuz, opened in 1937, was the second interchange between two Reichsautobahnen, the first one being the Schkeuditzer Kreuz. It is used by 160,000 vehicles per day. Between 2006 and 2009, the Kamener Kreuz was renovated and upgraded to three lanes in each direction. This required to replace the old A1 bridge by a new one. Additionally, an overfly ramp from A2-East (Hannover) to A1-South (Cologne) was built, so the interchange had no longer the shape of a classic cloverleaf. The portion of the A1 between the Kamener Kreuz and Dreieck Erfttal is traditionally one of the most congested sections of Autobahn in Germany.

Massen is a railway station in the Unna district of Massen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station. It was opened between 1897 and 1905 on the Welver–Sterkrade railway completed between Welver and the old Dortmund Süd (south) station by the Royal Westphalian Railway Company on 15 May 1876 and electrified on 25 May 1984.It is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 4 at 30-minute intervals (15-minute intervals in the peak between Dortmund-Lütgendortmund and Unna-Königsborn).The station is also served by bus routes T48 (Mittelstr + Afferde) and R54 (Unna + Methler) of Verkehrsgesellschaft Kreis Unna, both at 60-minute intervals.
