The Muck Crops Research Station is an agriculture research facility near Kettleby and Ansnorveldt, in Ontario, Canada. It is operated by the Office of Research at the University of Guelph. The station's research is focussed on several key areas: Crop protection of muck vegetables Evaluation of vegetable cultivars Post-harvest storage and treatment Soil and crop managementThe station features greenhouses with a system-controlled environment, a plant pathology laboratory, and long-term cold storage. Seven hectares of land are split into plots devoted to researching organic and mineral soils. Local growers also participate in commercial field trials on occasion.

The Auld Kirk Scotch Settlement is a historic settlement located in the former township of West Gwillimbury (now Bradford West Gwillimbury). It is located on the 6th Line, west of the 10th Sideroad, street number 3380. The church is one of several old Presbyterian churches that merged to form St. John's Presbyterian Church in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Kettleby is an unincorporated community in the northeastern part of King Township in Ontario, Canada. It is located about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) east of Highway 400, 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Toronto, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Barrie, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) west of Newmarket, and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) east of Orangeville.

Pottageville is an unincorporated community located in northeastern King Township, in Ontario, Canada. It is near Schomberg. It is named for one of its early settlers, Edward Pottage.

Holy Trinity Catholic High School is a Catholic secondary school in Bradford, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the two high schools located in Bradford, the other being Bradford District High School. It was established in 1985, at which time the school was spread over several buildings in Bradford. In January 1986, a new site was found in a building on the third floor of Bradford's Bank of Nova Scotia building, which meant Holy Trinity then had four classrooms in one building.In September 1986, the school moved to portable classroom buildings at its current site. Construction of the current school building did not begin until 1991, and the building's official opening was 24 May 1992.

Bradford District High School is a public, English-language secondary school located in Bradford, Ontario. It is managed by the Simcoe County District School Board. The principal is David Brooks. The school has an enrollment of about 1,100. During the last half of the 2006–2007 school year BDHS underwent extensive renovations that included a new greenhouse and full expansion and renovation of existing facilities. The school offers a construction-oriented apprenticeship program offering students to learn about hands-on labour and the real experiences of working in that field.BDHS serves the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and portions of Innisfil. Ansnorveldt is a hamlet located at the northeastern extent of King Township, in Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Holland Marsh, north of Highway 9. Whereas most of King township is in the Oak Ridges—Markham electoral district, Ansnorveldt and all other portions of King north of Highway 9 are part of the York—Simcoe electoral district, represented federally by Scot Davidson of the Conservative Party of Canada and provincially by Caroline Mulroney of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario.

York Energy Centre is a power station owned by York Energy Centre LP situated on a 5-acre (12-hectare) lot in King, Ontario, Canada completed in 2012.It is a simpleccycle natural gas plant and is fed from Enbridge's Schomberg Gate Station via 16-inch (41 cm) diameter pipeline. It is primarily used as a peaking power plant, and is planned to operate 260 to 1,300 hours annually. The station is connected to the Holland Landing Transformer Station and further to Hydro One via 230 kV lines on circuit numbers B82V and B83V

The Koffler Scientific Reserve at Jokers Hill, is a biological field station belonging to and managed by the University of Toronto. It occupies roughly 348 hectares of old fields, wetlands, grasslands, and forest lands in King Township, on the western portion of the Oak Ridges Moraine and close to the town of Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The site's ecosystems are home to many species of plants and animals.

Glen Echo Park was a naturist club opened in 1955 by Marie and Eddie Todorowsky in King, Ontario. When it closed in 2009, it was the oldest nudist camp in Ontario. The camp featured a children’s swimming pool, a playground, a five-unit motel and a shower area. In 1974, a 10,000-square-foot (930 m2) clubhouse was constructed for complete year-round use. In April 2009, after years of trying to sell the camp to nudists, the owners sold the property; in August 2009, it was announced that the camp would close down in October 2009 as it was bought by a private buyer for personal use.The announcement that the club would close effective October 1, 2009 only gave members about a month's notice. The news of the sale and closure came as a surprise to the membership because they had been given repeated assurances that the park would be sold to someone who would maintain it as a nudist club. Because some had significant investments in elaborate cabins that could not easily be moved, many members felt betrayed.Members fought to keep the park open. A September 2009 Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) ruling gave the members an additional year before they would be required to vacate. This ruling was subsequently overturned when the LTB ruled the act did not apply.

Bradford is the primary country urban area of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario, in Canada. It overlooks a farming community, known as The Holland Marsh, located on the Holland River that flows into Lake Simcoe.
