King (2021 population 27,333) is a township in York Region north of Toronto, within the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. The rolling hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine are the most prominent visible geographical feature of King. The Holland Marsh, considered to be Ontario's "vegetable basket", straddles King Township and Bradford West Gwillimbury. King is known for its horse and cattle farms. Though King is predominantly rural, most of its residents inhabit the communities of King City, Nobleton, and Schomberg.

Kettleby is an unincorporated community in the northeastern part of King Township in Ontario, Canada. It is located about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) east of Highway 400, 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Toronto, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Barrie, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) west of Newmarket, and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) east of Orangeville.

The Auld Kirk Scotch Settlement is a historic settlement located in the former township of West Gwillimbury (now Bradford West Gwillimbury). It is located on the 6th Line, west of the 10th Sideroad, street number 3380. The church is one of several old Presbyterian churches that merged to form St. John's Presbyterian Church in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Pottageville is an unincorporated community located in northeastern King Township, in Ontario, Canada. It is near Schomberg. It is named for one of its early settlers, Edward Pottage.

Ansnorveldt is a hamlet located at the northeastern extent of King Township, in Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Holland Marsh, north of Highway 9. Whereas most of King township is in the Oak Ridges—Markham electoral district, Ansnorveldt and all other portions of King north of Highway 9 are part of the York—Simcoe electoral district, represented federally by Scot Davidson of the Conservative Party of Canada and provincially by Caroline Mulroney of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario.

Holy Trinity Catholic High School is a Catholic secondary school in Bradford, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the two high schools located in Bradford, the other being Bradford District High School. It was established in 1985, at which time the school was spread over several buildings in Bradford. In January 1986, a new site was found in a building on the third floor of Bradford's Bank of Nova Scotia building, which meant Holy Trinity then had four classrooms in one building.In September 1986, the school moved to portable classroom buildings at its current site. Construction of the current school building did not begin until 1991, and the building's official opening was 24 May 1992.

The Koffler Scientific Reserve at Jokers Hill, is a biological field station belonging to and managed by the University of Toronto. It occupies roughly 348 hectares of old fields, wetlands, grasslands, and forest lands in King Township, on the western portion of the Oak Ridges Moraine and close to the town of Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The site's ecosystems are home to many species of plants and animals.

York Energy Centre is a power station owned by York Energy Centre LP situated on a 5-acre (12-hectare) lot in King, Ontario, Canada completed in 2012.It is a simpleccycle natural gas plant and is fed from Enbridge's Schomberg Gate Station via 16-inch (41 cm) diameter pipeline. It is primarily used as a peaking power plant, and is planned to operate 260 to 1,300 hours annually. The station is connected to the Holland Landing Transformer Station and further to Hydro One via 230 kV lines on circuit numbers B82V and B83V

Bradford District High School is a public, English-language secondary school located in Bradford, Ontario. It is managed by the Simcoe County District School Board. The principal is David Brooks. The school has an enrollment of about 1,100. During the last half of the 2006–2007 school year BDHS underwent extensive renovations that included a new greenhouse and full expansion and renovation of existing facilities. The school offers a construction-oriented apprenticeship program offering students to learn about hands-on labour and the real experiences of working in that field.BDHS serves the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and portions of Innisfil. The Glenville Hills Kames is a 345 hectare provincially significant Earth Science Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in Ontario, Canada. Located in the northeastern part of the township of King, it contains most of the eastern portion of Jokers Hill, site of the Koffler Scientific Reserve which conducts ecological research in the area. It consists of Late Wisconsinan deposits of Newmarket Till, from the Port Bruce Stadial, and Kettleby Till, from the Port Huron Stadial. These are overlain by kames and kame slopes, which are the dominant topographical features in the area, on the northern slopes of the Oak Ridges Moraine. It is an "excellent representation of kame moraine features", which are uncommon in the region. It is in the East Holland River subwatershed.The site also demarcates the southernmost advance of the Lake Simcoe sublobe during the Port Bruce Stadial, though most sediments were deposited by the Lake Ontario lobe.

Bradford is the primary country urban area of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario, in Canada. It overlooks a farming community, known as The Holland Marsh, located on the Holland River that flows into Lake Simcoe.
