Ansnorveldt is a hamlet located at the northeastern extent of King Township, in Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Holland Marsh, north of Highway 9. Whereas most of King township is in the Oak Ridges—Markham electoral district, Ansnorveldt and all other portions of King north of Highway 9 are part of the York—Simcoe electoral district, represented federally by Scot Davidson of the Conservative Party of Canada and provincially by Caroline Mulroney of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario.

Holland Landing is a community in the town of East Gwillimbury, located in the northern part of the Regional Municipality of York, in south-central Ontario, Canada. Its major road is Yonge Street (bypassed by the former Highway 11) and the community has bus service by GO Transit route 68 and York Region Transit route 52 (Monday to Saturday service). The East Gwillimbury GO train station is in the southeast corner of Holland Landing, providing weekday commuter train service. The East Holland River runs through the community and has several marinas for recreational boats. Most of Holland Landing's internal economy is based on the service industry, and some manufacturing.

Holland Landing Airpark (formerly Hare Field) (TC LID: CLA4) is located adjacent to the south end of Holland Landing, Ontario, Canada. The airport is mainly used for training but tenants also offer charter, advertising and sightseeing services. The largest building is a 30,000 sq ft (2,800 m2) hangar owned by Silverline Helicopters. The smaller hangar belongs to Future Air. The 40 acres (16 ha) private airfield is being shortlisted as a future home for York Regional Police Air2 helicopter.The original 1,900 ft (580 m) grass strip was constructed by Wallace G. Hare in 1956 and a second, shorter 1,200 ft (370 m) runway was added shortly after. It served as a private airstrip for a handful of local pilots and grew to housing up to 20 private aircraft at its peak. In 1978, ultralights were becoming popular and two local ultralight companies set up their businesses on Hare Field. In 2006, Hare Field was sold to Silverline Helicopters and became known as Holland Landing Airpark.

The East Holland River is a river in Ontario, Canada that is part of the Holland River watershed that empties into Cook's Bay in Lake Simcoe. The headwaters of the East Holland River rise in the Oak Ridges Moraine. The river runs generally north from the town of Newmarket, and through Holland Landing where it joins up with the West Holland River. A map of the Holland River watershed published by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority shows tributaries to the East Holland River include Sharon Creek, Bogart Creek, Tannery Creek (from Aurora, Ontario), Western Creek (from the west side of Newmarket), and Weslie Creek. A dam on the East Holland River in Newmarket maintains a man-made lake called Fairy Lake, originally a millpond, but now used for recreation. There has been a dam at this site since 1801. The current dam was damaged, albeit not severely, by Hurricane Hazel in 1954. Musselman Lake in Whitchurch-Stouffville feeds a creek that runs along Vandorf Sideroad and into Weslie Creek. Despite concerns of a lack of water, construction of several locks was started along the river between Newmarket and Holland Landing as part of a 'Holland River Canal' that would have joined Newmarket to the Trent-Severn Waterway. There is one lock in each of those places along with another at Rogers Reservoir in East Gwillimbury. Rogers Reservoir and Fairy Lake in Newmarket were to act as reservoirs for the canal waters. There were two swing bridges built in East Gwillimbury; one on Green Lane and the other on Main Street North (Concession 2). Both have been replaced by permanent structures. On Green Lane the road now runs slightly to the south and a pedestrian bridge crosses the old structure. There is also a quayside at Davis Drive in Newmarket. The canal works were abandoned early in the 20th century without ever being completed. The upper limit of navigation on the East Holland River remains at River Drive Park, about 2 km downstream from Holland Landing.

The Glenville Hills Kames is a 345 hectare provincially significant Earth Science Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in Ontario, Canada. Located in the northeastern part of the township of King, it contains most of the eastern portion of Jokers Hill, site of the Koffler Scientific Reserve which conducts ecological research in the area. It consists of Late Wisconsinan deposits of Newmarket Till, from the Port Bruce Stadial, and Kettleby Till, from the Port Huron Stadial. These are overlain by kames and kame slopes, which are the dominant topographical features in the area, on the northern slopes of the Oak Ridges Moraine. It is an "excellent representation of kame moraine features", which are uncommon in the region. It is in the East Holland River subwatershed.The site also demarcates the southernmost advance of the Lake Simcoe sublobe during the Port Bruce Stadial, though most sediments were deposited by the Lake Ontario lobe.

The Koffler Scientific Reserve at Jokers Hill, is a biological field station belonging to and managed by the University of Toronto. It occupies roughly 348 hectares of old fields, wetlands, grasslands, and forest lands in King Township, on the western portion of the Oak Ridges Moraine and close to the town of Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The site's ecosystems are home to many species of plants and animals.

Bradford GO Station is a railway station and bus station in the GO Transit network located in Bradford, Ontario in Canada. It is 67 km north of Union Station in downtown Toronto, and was the terminus of the Bradford line before it was extended to Barrie and renamed the Barrie line on December 17, 2007.

Newmarket Terminal is a bus terminal in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada operated by York Region Transit (YRT). It is located at 320 Eagle Street West at the intersection of Eagle Street West and Davis Drive. The facility has 447 parking spaces. The Newmarket GO Train Station is located at Davis Drive about two kilometres to the east. The Newmarket Terminal includes a convenience store in its interior facility providing various amenities for transit riders.

Upper Canada Mall is the 25th largest shopping mall in Canada, located in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The mall is situated on the northwest corner of the Davis Drive West and Yonge Street intersection. The mall is owned and operated by Oxford Properties, one of the largest shopping centre development companies in Canada. It opened in 1974, at which time its layout was a north-south arrangement with two sunken sitting areas surrounded by brick planters on the lower level. The mall is anchored by five retailers: Hudson’s Bay, Sportchek, Toys “R” Us, Stitches, and Designer Row.

Bradford is the primary country urban area of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario, in Canada. It overlooks a farming community, known as The Holland Marsh, located on the Holland River that flows into Lake Simcoe.

The Ray Twinney Complex, formerly known as the Newmarket Recreational Complex, is a multi-purpose recreational facility in the southwest portion of Newmarket, Ontario, built in 1985. The complex was named for former Newmarket mayor Ray Twinney. The complex includes two ice pads, a swimming pool, which includes a wading pool and a hot tub, three conference rooms, one lighted outdoor multi-purpose sports field, two soccer pitches, and three baseball/softball diamonds. The main arena has 3,700 seats. It is the current home of the Newmarket Saints of the Ontario Lacrosse Jr. B League, and has also been home to the Newmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League, as well as the short-lived Newmarket Royals Ontario Hockey League team in the mid-1990s, and the Newmarket Saints AHL club.

Holy Trinity Catholic High School is a Catholic secondary school in Bradford, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the two high schools located in Bradford, the other being Bradford District High School. It was established in 1985, at which time the school was spread over several buildings in Bradford. In January 1986, a new site was found in a building on the third floor of Bradford's Bank of Nova Scotia building, which meant Holy Trinity then had four classrooms in one building.In September 1986, the school moved to portable classroom buildings at its current site. Construction of the current school building did not begin until 1991, and the building's official opening was 24 May 1992.
