Davidstow (Cornish: Logdewi (village) and Cornish: Pluwdhewi (parish)) is a civil parish and village in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is north of Bodmin Moor straddling the A395 road about 3 miles (5 km) north of Camelford. The hamlets of Hallworthy, Hendraburnick, Tremail and Trewassa are in the parish. It was formerly known as Dewstow(e).'Davidstow Cheddar' and 'Cathedral City' brands of cheese are produced at Davidstow Creamery which is operated by Dairy Crest using water ultimately from St David's Holy well, next to the parish church. A military airfield, RAF Davidstow Moor, was built near the village during the Second World War and was later used as a motor racing circuit.

Davidstow Circuit is a disused motor racing circuit and airfield built in Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. The circuit was built on the site of a World War II RAF Coastal Command base, RAF Davidstow Moor, opened in 1942. Davidstow circuit opened in 1952, and held three Formula 1 races between 1954 and 1955. The circuit hosted its last race in 1955, and was one of many of Britain's airfields to be transformed into motor racing venues. Davidstow circuit is notable for the first victory in a Formula One race by a Lotus.

Royal Air Force Davidstow or more commonly RAF Davidstow Moor is a former Royal Air Force station located 2.9 miles (4.7 km) north east of Camelford, Cornwall and 11.5 miles (18.5 km) west of Launceston, Cornwall, England. It was used from late 1942 until 1945, and despite a few periods of intense activity it was one of Coastal Command's lesser used airfields.

Hallworthy (Cornish: Halworgi) is a hamlet in the parish of Treneglos, Cornwall, England. It is at a crossroads on the A395 road from Davidstow to Launceston. To the east is a plantation called Wilsey Down Forest. It is in the civil parish of Davidstow

Otterham (Cornish: Prasotri) is a village and a civil parish in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is situated approximately ten miles (16 km) south of Bude and six miles (9.7 km) north of Camelford.Otterham Mill, Otterham Down and Otterham Station (see below) are neighbouring settlements to Otterham village; all take the name from the River Ottery which rises in the parish. The parish is in the Hundred of Lesnewth and Deanery of Trigg Major. It is in the Registration District of Camelford and belongs to the Boscastle group of Anglican parishes. Otterham parish is bounded to the north by St Gennys, to the east by Warbstow, to the south by Davidstow and to the west by St Juliot. The parish is rural with small hamlets and farmsteads spread fairly evenly across it: the population of the parish in the 2001 census was 228.The parish church of St Denis at grid reference SX 168 907 is in Otterham village and has a 40 ft tower housing three bells. The church was established during the Norman period, but the north transept was removed in 1889.

North Cornwall is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Scott Mann, a Conservative since the 2015 general election. Like all British constituencies, the seat elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election at least every five years. The seat was created in 1918. Since 1950, the constituency has been held by MPs from either the Conservative Party or the Liberal Democrats (including the party's predecessor, the Liberal Party).

Bowithick (Cornish: Boswydhek, meaning Wooded Dwelling) is a hamlet on the northern edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Bowithick is situated near the disused Davidstow Moor airfield. The nearest villages are St Clether and Altarnun (where the 2011 Census population is included). There is a ford and two clapper bridges on the Penpont Water and the 346 m (1137 ft) high hill Bray Down nearby with Buttern Hill (1135 ft) immediately to the west of it. The manor of Bowithick was recorded in the Domesday Book (1086) when it was held by Osferth from Robert, Count of Mortain. He had also held it before 1066 and paid tax for one furlong. There was land for 2 ploughs. There were one villein and 2 smallholders. The value of the manor was 2 shillings though it had formerly been worth 5 shillings. The area around Bowithick was busier during World War I than it is today due to the presence of a Prisoner-of-war camp, the German prisoners being used to mine wolfram and tin at an opencast mine in Buttern Hill immediately to the south west. During World War II Bowithick had a near miss when a 115mm shell fired from a 155 mm M1 Howitzer as part of a shoot from the training range on Laneast downs landed in a nearby field that was being ploughed, the ploughman escaping uninjured as he was having lunch at the farmhouse. In April 2021 two small brown crabs were found in the Ford alongside Bowithick Bridge despite being ten miles from the sea as the crow flies.

Caroe is a small hamlet in the parish of Otterham, Cornwall, England. Caroe is situated approximately ten miles (16 km) south of Bude and six miles (9.7 km) north of Camelford. Caroe is at around 660 feet (201 m) above sea level and lies on the western side of the River Ottery. Immediately to the south of Caroe is Kernick and Ottery Meadows which is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Trelash is a hamlet in the civil parish of Warbstow, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.

Showery Tor is a rocky outcrop on a ridge-top approximately 0.6 kilometres (0.37 mi) north of the Rough Tor summit, near Camelford on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. It is notable for its rock formations and prehistoric monuments. The Tor is a prominent landmark for a wide area. It consists of a natural 5-metre (16 ft) outcrop of weathered granite enveloped by a giant man-made ring cairn of stones, each up to 30 metres (98 ft) in diameter and 1.2 metres (3.9 ft) high. Christopher Tilley has estimated the height of the cairn on which the outcrop stands to be 3 metres (9.8 ft). The site was thought to have been a religious focal point, possibly from the Neolithic or Bronze Age period. No excavations have been recorded at the site, and it is not known if any burials were made there. The granite outcrop is reminiscent of the Cheesewring and made of individual blocks on underlying outcrops formed by erosion along horizontal fractures in the granitic mass. Aerial photography has revealed more about the layout of the structures on Showery Tor and it stands out as the only natural formation to have been used in this way by the cairn designers.

Hendraburnick (Cornish: Hendra Bronnik, meaning rushy home farma) is a farmstead near Davidstow, Cornwall, England. On Hendraburnick Down is the source of the River Camel. In the medieval period, Hendraburnick was a manor held under Launceston Castle.Feet of fines records that in 1383 some land in the settlement of Hendraburnick was held by a Roger Knyght, reverting on his death to a John Lordman of Treleigh.A 17th century farmhouse there is a grade II listed building.Hendraburnick Quoit to the north east is a Late Neolithic dolmen, regarded as "the most decorated or deliberately marked stone in southern Britain".
