Archbishop Stepinac High School is an American all-boys' Roman Catholic high school in White Plains, New York. It was operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York until the 2009–2010 school year, when it became independent of the Archdiocese It was founded in 1948 and named after Aloysius Stepinac, who was the Archbishop of Zagreb in Croatia (which was then part of Yugoslavia). In 1952, Stepinac was appointed a cardinal by Pope Pius XII. Stepinac was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1998.

Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is a non-profit, 150-bed acute rehabilitation hospital located in White Plains, New York. It is the only hospital in Westchester County entirely dedicated to rehabilitation medicine. Opening in 1915, Burke has been involved in medical rehabilitation for over one hundred years. As of January 2016, Burke is a member of the Montefiore Health System, Inc. Burke provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation to patients with a broad range of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and pulmonary disabilities caused by disease or injury. Burke treats patients who have suffered a stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputations, complicated fractures, cardiac disease, arthritis and pulmonary disease as well as neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis.Patients are generally from the eastern United States, but Burke also sees patients from other parts of the U.S. and, through its International Patient Program, from abroad. It has approximately 600 employees and 17 full-time physicians.Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

The German International School New York (also known as Deutsche Internationale Schule New York, or 'GISNY' for short) is a private, bilingual (German/English) college preparatory school that enrolls over 400 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The School is located in White Plains, New York, approximately 25 miles north of New York City, and is divided into three schools on the same campus: the Lower School, the Middle School and the Upper School. Many GISNY students are citizens of German-speaking countries. Increasingly, however, the school enrolls a diverse community that includes families from all over the world. Today, more than a third of GISNY students are US citizens or reside in the US permanently. Soundview Manor is a historic home located on four acres in White Plains, Westchester County, New York. Built in 1920 by landowner Robert B. Dula, and is a stuccoed, frame building in the Classical Revival style. It is "L"-shaped and has a three-story, three-bay central section flanked by two-story, one-bay blocks on each side. The house has flat roofs, with prominent balustrades. The flat roofed front porch is supported by Tuscan order columns.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

White Plains Senior High School is a high school in the White Plains Public Schools system of White Plains, New York, United States. The Source at White Plains is a large urban-style shopping complex in downtown White Plains, New York, owned and managed by 'New England Development'. The Source is located next to The Westchester and Crowne Plaza hotel, and features several major brand-name retailers and restaurants including Dick's Sporting Goods, Raymour & Flanigan, The Cheesecake Factory, and Whole Foods Market. The Source opened in 2004 and was built on the site of one of the first suburban branches of Saks Fifth Avenue, which closed in early 2002. The mall is connected to a large 4-story parking garage. Within close proximity of The Source are complementary retail developments such as The Westchester mall (featuring anchor stores Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom), a freestanding Bloomingdale's department store, the City Center at White Plains, and the Galleria at White Plains mall. As of December 2015, the management contract for The Source at White Plains was awarded to The Wilder Companies, based out of Boston and managed by John Tacij. Danone International has established their headquarters at The Source, moving from their previous North White Plains location. Danone took over space on the top floor of the center, which had been vacant since the closure of the three-level Fortunoff store.

Harrison High School (HHS) is a public high school located in Harrison, Westchester County, New York, United States. The school is 22 miles (35 km) northeast of New York City. It is the only high school operated by the Harrison Central School District.

Percy Grainger Home and Studio is a historic home located at White Plains, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1893 and is a two-story, three-bay-wide dwelling with a pyramidal hipped roof in the American Foursquare style. It features a full-width, one-story porch supported by four Doric order columns. The main entrance is a Dutch door. It was the home of musician Percy Grainger from 1921 to his death in 1961.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

White Plains Hospital is a general medical and surgical, non-profit hospital located in White Plains, New York. In addition to providing general care to patients, it also operates a number of specialized programs, such as its cancer center. The hospital was founded in 1893 as a four-room hospital. As of 2012, White Plains Hospital treated 170,000 patients annually and is a member of the Montefiore Health System network. The total capacity of the hospital is 292 beds.

The White Plains Armory is a historic building in White Plains, New York, in Westchester County. Located at 65 Mitchell Place/35 South Broadway, the building was built to serve as a National Guard armory. Construction of the building began in 1909 and was completed in 1910. The building was designed by architect James E. Ware. The building was 31,612 square feet and takes up three-quarters of an acre. 49th Separate Company/Company L, 10th Infantry Regiment occupied the armory from 1910 to 1939. From April 1924 to November 1929, the White Plains Armory was the temporary headquarters of Troop K of the New York State Police, after a March 3, 1924 fire destroyed the troop's headquarters at Gedney Farms. The police troop left the Armory in November 1929 after a new headquarters in Hawthorne was completed.Subsequently, the building's tenants were the 106th Infantry Regiment and then the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, Company D, 212th Field Artillery.It is located on the site of the first courthouse where the Declaration of Independence was read on July 11, 1776.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The building was vacated in 1977. In 1982, it was converted to Armory Plaza, a senior housing complex with a senior center on first floor.
