Museum Voorlinden (Dutch pronunciation: [myˈzeːʏm ˈʋoːrlɪndən]) is an art museum in Wassenaar in the Netherlands. It was founded and is privately owned by Joop van Caldenborgh. It was opened on 10 September 2016 by King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

Huize Ivicke is a monumental building in Wassenaar, the Netherlands. Constructed in 1913 for A. F. J. van Hattum, it is a replica of the Eremitageslottet hunting lodge in the Jaegersborg Dyrehave in Denmark. It was inhabited until the mid-1980s, when it became offices. Since 2000, it has been owned by speculator Ronnie van de Putte, known as the "Slum King of the Netherlands" (Krottenkoning van Nederland). He refuses to renovate the building, despite its monumental status. Heritage groups warned the local municipality in the late 2010s that the villa was severely dilapidated and it was placed on a list of the fourteen most threatened monuments in Europe. It is currently the subject of an intense dispute over emergency renovations and was squatted in 2018, by people wanting to carry out essential repairs. The house, the formal garden, the gate and the playhouse are all national monuments.

Anton Mussert, the leader of National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands, was executed here on 7 May 1946.It is one of the main locations where on 4 May "Remembrance of the Dead", a yearly commemoration of victims of World War II and other victims of war, is held.

Haagse Hout (Dutch pronunciation: [ɦaːxsə ˈɦʌut], literally Woods of The Hague) is one of the eight districts of The Hague. This area was originally called Die Haghe Houte, which later became the current Haagse Hout. The district has 45,600 residents as of 2018. It is located in the north-east of the city, bordering Wassenaar to the north and Leidschendam-Voorburg to the east. Haagse Hout is divided into four neighbourhoods: Benoordenhout Bezuidenhout Mariahoeve en Marlot Haagse BosBezuidenhout is usually divided further into Bezuidenhout East and Bezuidenhout West. Mariahoeve and Marlot are also sometimes separately named. Villapark Marlot has the highest income of The Hague, and is one of the greener areas. The Haagse Bos is the largest green area, almost completely covered by parks and fields. This city park divides Haagse Hout into two: Benoordenhout and Bezuidenhout (literally North of the Woods and South of the Woods).

The roller coaster is a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter model coaster which was opened to the public on 14 May 2009. At 97 degrees, Falcon has a steeper-than-vertical drop, and the steepest drop of any roller coaster in the Netherlands.

Duinrell is an amusement park situated in Wassenaar, Netherlands. Its main character is Rick the Frog. It also contains a caravan park and a camp-site. A variety of accommodation is also available including lodges, tents and static caravans. Bike and kart hire is available. The park has its own shop. Duinrell has been critically acclaimed for its attraction park with swimming pool (the Tikibad), which has the longest waterslides in the Netherlands. The pool is open till 22:00 on most days.The park is located on the estate of the counts Van Zuylen van Nijevelt.

N14, or Rijksweg 14, is a dual carriageway in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It goes from the end of N440 (western interchange with dual carriageway N44, from The Hague city center to motorway A44) and ends in Motorway A4 and the Hague district Leidschenstad. It is a part of the Ring Den Haag (The Hague), together with local roads, a part of the A4 and the short N440. In Leidschendam-Voorburg the N14 runs through the three Sijtwende tunnels, which together are just named Sijtwendetunnel (as if it is just one tunnel!). These tunnels crosses a railway a local road and a canal, but the longest part runs under residential neighbourhoods, partly alove ground in a "levee".
