Arrondissement of La Tour-du-Pin

La Tour-du-Pin (French pronunciation: [la tuʁ dy pɛ̃] ; Arpitan: La Tor-du-Pin) is a subprefecture of the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France.

The canton of La Tour-du-Pin is an administrative division of the Isère department, eastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in La Tour-du-Pin.It consists of the following communes:

La Tour-du-Pin station (French: Gare de La Tour-du-Pin) is a railway station in the Isère département of France in the southeastern French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The station, located approximately 51 km to the south-east of Lyon (Lyon-Part-Dieu station), serves the commune of La Tour-du-Pin, and is situated around 500 m to the south-east of the town center. The station has two side platforms connected by a pedestrian overpass. There is a parking lot near the station and a passenger drop-off area in front of the station building located to the north of the tracks. The local buses to Les Avenières and Morestel also stop at the station square.

Saint-Didier-de-la-Tour (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ didje də la tuʁ], literally Saint-Didier of La Tour) is a commune in the Isère department in southeastern France. It is often referred to as "La Cassôla", after a spring in the village, which has heavily coloured waters. Until the First World War, lignite mines were exploited near the village, employing over 600 people.
