The area of North Fort Worth near Big Fossil Creek is occupied indigenous land where Tawakoni, Wichita, Kiikaapoi, Jumanos, and Nʉmʉnʉʉ would overlap/intersect.The creek's headwaters are located in far northwest Fort Worth near Avondale and Route 287. It then flows southeast through Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Richland Hills before converging with the West Fork of the Trinity River.

The Paw Paw Formation is a geological formation in Texas whose strata date back to the late Albian stage of the Early Cretaceous. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.

The Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District is located in the northwest corner of Tarrant County, Texas (United States) and includes 73 square miles (190 km2) of land in Saginaw, Eagle Mountain, Blue Mound and several housing additions in the City of Fort Worth, near Eagle Mountain Lake. Fossil Ridge High School (FRHS) is an American public high school located in northeast Fort Worth, Texas. It is the second high school inside the Keller Independent School District. Most nearby schools such as Fossil Hill Middle School and Vista Ridge Middle School graduates feed into Fossil Ridge. According to U.S. News & World Report, Fossil Ridge High School is ranked at #1,473 as one of the highest ranked high schools in the United States. In Texas, it is ranked at #142 as one of the highest ranked schools and was certified Silver.

The American Airways Hangar and Administration Building is located on the grounds of Fort Worth Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. The hangar and office opened in 1933 and cost $150,000 to construct. The two-story building measures 235 feet by 120 feet and is constructed of brick, steel and reinforced concrete. The hangar was designed by Russian-born architect Abraham Epstein. It is the oldest building of Meacham Field. The southern, hangar portion is about two-thirds of the building; the two-story brick administration building portion makes up about one-third, on the north. It has fluted cast stone pilasters, which include the American Airlines eagle in bas-relief capitals. The eagle appears above "American Airways" written in cast stone at the middle of the administration building.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 16, 2008.

Silver Sage is an area/community located in north-east Fort Worth, Texas, in an area around Silver Sage park on Silver Sage drive. The community is actually composed of several separate neighborhoods, but people often refer it as one big neighborhood. Silver Sage is a lower to middle class community populated mostly by African-Americans, Whites, Hispanics, and Asians.

The Vintage Flying Museum is a non-profit aviation museum located at Meacham International Airport, Fort Worth, Texas. The primary mission of the museum is to preserve America's flying heritage in word, deed and action. Also located at the museum is Greatest Generation Aircraft, the Invader Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force, the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Rosie the Riveter Association and PGM Aviation.
