Saginaw High School (Texas)

The North Texas Intermediate Sanction Facility (NTISF (GEO Group acronym) or XL (TDCJ acronym)) was a privately operated prison facility located in northern Fort Worth, Texas. It was operated by the GEO Group on behalf of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The facility was on the east side of Blue Mound Road, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Interstate 820 and north of Downtown Fort Worth.The GEO Group was awarded the contract to operate the center on August 16, 1991. The center opened in August 1991. The facility housed short term parole violators.The facility, with capacity to house 432 prisoners, had about 100 employees. Prisoners typically stayed for 60 to 100 days. The longest incarceration was for six months. In 2011 GEO stated that it wanted to continue to operate the facility. In 2011 the state of Texas decided not to renew its contract with the facility.

Big Fossil Creek is a stream in Tarrant County, in the U.S. state of Texas.Big Fossil Creek was so named on account of the fossils found there by an early settler. The area of North Fort Worth near Big Fossil Creek is occupied indigenous land where Tawakoni, Wichita, Kiikaapoi, Jumanos, and Nʉmʉnʉʉ would overlap/intersect.The creek's headwaters are located in far northwest Fort Worth near Avondale and Route 287. It then flows southeast through Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Richland Hills before converging with the West Fork of the Trinity River.

The Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District is located in the northwest corner of Tarrant County, Texas (United States) and includes 73 square miles (190 km2) of land in Saginaw, Eagle Mountain, Blue Mound and several housing additions in the City of Fort Worth, near Eagle Mountain Lake. Serving more than 18,000 students (a 17% increase over last year), the district consists of 15 elementary schools, six middle schools, three high schools, an alternative discipline center, Hollenstein Career and Technology Center, and the Weldon Hafley Development Center. From kindergarten to high school, diverse special programs are available to support the regular curriculum and to provide for special needs. The district also offers an alternative education to at-risk students through Watson High School/ Alternative Discipline Center. In 2018, the school district received a "B" performance average by the Texas Education Agency.

The American Airways Hangar and Administration Building is located on the grounds of Fort Worth Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. The hangar and office opened in 1933 and cost $150,000 to construct. The two-story building measures 235 feet by 120 feet and is constructed of brick, steel and reinforced concrete. The hangar was designed by Russian-born architect Abraham Epstein. It is the oldest building of Meacham Field. The southern, hangar portion is about two-thirds of the building; the two-story brick administration building portion makes up about one-third, on the north. It has fluted cast stone pilasters, which include the American Airlines eagle in bas-relief capitals. The eagle appears above "American Airways" written in cast stone at the middle of the administration building.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 16, 2008.

Chisholm Trail High School is a public high school in Fort Worth, Texas. It is administered by the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District and classified as a 6A school by the UIL. The school opened in August 2012 with 938 freshmen and sophomores, and expanded to grades nine through twelve by the 2014–15 school year. The school takes its name from the historic Chisholm Trail cattle drive route, which passed through Fort Worth.
