City Cross Arcade

Grenfell Centre, also known as The Black Stump, is a high rise office building located at 25 Grenfell Street in the Adelaide city centre. It is the ninth tallest building in Adelaide, South Australia, with a height of 103 metres (338 feet). It was the tallest building in the city until surpassed by the Telstra House in 1987. It has 26 floors and was completed in 1973. In the 1980s, the building's foyer and interior were refurbished. A ten-metre antenna was attached in 1980 and upgraded with digital transmitters in 2003, increasing the height a metre further.In 2007, the building was redeveloped, and two frameless glass cubes were constructed at the entrance of the building. This redevelopment earned it the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Commercial Architecture Award of Commendation.As of May 2016, Oracle uses the building; over the last few years, the company logo has been displayed at the top. Its nickname, "black stump", in reference to the building's appearance, is also a colloquial Australian phrase.

IOOF Building may refer to two buildings in the centre of the city of Adelaide, South Australia. The first was built in the late 19th century and was demolished in the early-mid 1960s. As a result of this, the second was built as a "replacement" in the mid 1960s.

The Telstra House is a high-rise building that is located in the Adelaide CBD on the northern side of Pirie Street. The Telstra House rises 117 metres above the ground and has 35 floors. Construction of the building began in 1984 and was completed in 1987. Upon completion, the Telstra House became the tallest building in Adelaide at 104 metres (341 ft), but Westpac House (originally known as the State Bank building) overtook the tallest building position in 1988. A major refurbishment of the building took place in 2019.Telstra House was previously owned by Telstra company, but is now owned by Australian Unity.

Rundle Mall is a pedestrian street mall located in Adelaide, South Australia. It was opened as a pedestrian mall in September 1976 by closing the section of Rundle Street between King William Street and Pulteney Street, to vehicular traffic. The street continues as Rundle Street (as before) to the east and Hindley Street to the west. The pedestrian mall has become the centrepiece of Adelaide's city centre, home to some of the most expensive real estate in the state. It competes with the large shopping complexes in the suburbs, (e.g. Westfield Marion, Armada Arndale Shopping Centre, Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, etc.) In 2009, retail space directly on the mall leased for up to $3,700 per square metre per year.The mall is home to the South Australian flagship stores of many large Australian retailers and many smaller independent and chain stores. The mall also features a number of arcades and plazas containing smaller boutiques and eateries. These include the Italianate-style Adelaide Arcade (also being the first retail establishment in Australia with electric lighting, and allegedly home to six ghosts), Regent Arcade, Gay's Arcade, City Cross, Southern Cross, Adelaide Central Plaza, Myer Centre, Renaissance Arcade, and Rundle Place. There are usually several buskers performing in the mall, licensed by the Adelaide City Council. The mall's stores are generally open seven days a week.

The Beehive Corner is a landmark in the Adelaide city centre, on the north-eastern corner of King William Street and Rundle Street, centrally placed between the railway station and the city's shopping precinct.

The Myer Centre is a five level shopping centre in the heart of the Adelaide city centre situated along the Rundle Mall shopping precinct and North Terrace. It is owned by Starhill Global REIT and managed by CBRE. The Myer Centre is the largest shopping centre in the Adelaide city centre and houses the largest Myer store in South Australia, along with over 80 smaller shops. The level below street level includes a large food court.The Rundle Mall side of the building has an 8-level atrium, with the escalators at the sides. In the 1990s, the upper level housed an indoor amusement park named Dazzeland that included Australia's only indoor rollercoaster.

Dazzeland was a two-storey indoor amusement park occupying the top levels of the REMM Myer Centre in Rundle Mall, a major shopping mall in Adelaide, Australia. The centre was built between 1988 and 1991, at a cost of $1 billion. Some years later, the centre was sold for $140 million, contributing to the collapse of the State Bank of South Australia. The park's signature attraction was a figure 8 roller coaster named "Jazz Junction", its track running overhead along the fifth level. Other attractions included dodgem cars, a carousel, a Lego Expo, giant playground, musical fountain, and train.With the park's closure on 31 January 1998, an attempt was made to fill the upper levels with smaller, higher paying retail tenants. This soon proved unsuccessful in luring the necessary foot traffic, whereby the upper level remained vacant for many years. The remains of Jazz Junction were removed during 2003 as part of the renovation of the Myer Centre.A Fernwood Fitness Centre gym was located in part of the space during the early 2000s; as of December 2009, Fernwood had relocated to the Renaissance Centre (primarily occupied by Toys "R" Us until its closure in early 2012, being renovated to what is now Kmart, which had opened late November of that year), leaving level 4 entirely empty and closed-off to the public. In March 2013, the centre had commenced an upgrade. In August of that year, the escalators (sealed off from levels 4 and 5 since the park's closure) were removed completely, as part of the upgrade.In late 2015 it was announced that Dazzeland will return in 2016 as a venue for the Adelaide Festival of Arts.In early 2019, part of level 4 became the new location of CDW Studios, which had previously been on level 3 alongside Lincraft. In mid 2021, Adelaide experimental musician Kintsugist released "Dazzeland", a Vaporwave Concept album that takes the listener on a journey through the amusement park on its opening day as experienced by through the distractible ears of a child.

Pirie Street is a road on the east side of the Adelaide city centre, South Australia. It runs east–west, between East Terrace and King William Street. After crossing King William Street, it continues as Waymouth Street. It forms the southern boundary of Hindmarsh Square which is in the centre of the north-east quadrant of the city centre. Pirie Street is served by a stop on the Glenelg tram line on King William Street. It is mainly occupied by office buildings, restaurants, and nightspots. It is one of the narrower streets of the Adelaide grid, at 1 chain (66 ft; 20 m) wide, and has a bicycle lane. It has a number of notable buildings, including several heritage-listed ones, and was once home to the biggest brewery in the colony of South Australia, the Adelaide Brewery. In 2019 it was used as a location for the film Escape from Pretoria, starring Daniel Radcliffe, substituting for Cape Town, South Africa.

General Post Office a colonial-era building situated on 141 King William Street on the north-west corner of King William Street and Victoria Square, is the former General Post Office for South Australia, Australia, Postal services operated from the building between 6 May 1872 and 11 October 2019.

The Verco Building is a building in the Australian state of South Australia located in the Adelaide city centre at 178–179 North Terrace, Adelaide, and is today part of the Myer Centre.

Adelaide Arcade is a heritage shopping arcade in the centre of Adelaide, South Australia. It is linked to, and closely associated with, Gay's Arcade.
