The Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is located in the heart of a residential community in Singapore. Located at 301 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh, Singapore 319392, Toa Payoh Swimming Complex is within walking distance from Toa Payoh MRT station. It is closed half day for maintenance on Tuesday. Operating hours are from: Tuesday: 2:30pm – 9:30pm, Wednesday to Monday: 8am to 9:30pm. Together with the Toa Payoh Sports Hall, the Swimming Complex is one of many public swimming complexes operated by the Singapore Sports Council. The swimming complex itself consists of five pools, of which three are meant for public use (a wading pool, a teaching pool and a training pool) while the other two in a separate section of the complex are used extensively for elite training by the national teams in the sports of water polo, synchronised swimming and diving. Toa Payoh Swimming Complex has played host to the National Schools’ Swimming Championships for many years and, since March 2006, has been hosting the synchronised swimming event of the Asian Swimming Championships. Most notably, the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex was the venue for the aquatics (diving) event for the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics Games that took place in Singapore in 2010.

Chung Hwa Medical Institution is a medical institution located in Toa Payoh, Singapore. The institution is the headquarters of the Singapore Chinese Physicians Association (SCPA), and houses the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Medical and Drugs Research Institute, Chinese Acupuncture Research Institution, and a traditional Chinese medicine clinic.

The Toa Payoh Public Library (Chinese: 大巴窑图书馆), formerly Toa Payoh Community Library (Chinese: 大巴窑社区图书馆) and Toa Payoh Branch Library is an established library located in the Toa Payoh Town Centre, Singapore, opened on 7 February 1974. It consists of three floors and has a large floor area of approximately 4125 m2. The building which the library currently based in once housed the Southeast Asian Peninsular Games Secretariat for the 1973 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games in Singapore. The library is also within walking distance of HDB Hub, Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and Toa Payoh MRT station.

Toa Payoh MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line (NSL) in Toa Payoh, Singapore. Located within the town centre of Toa Payoh, this station is integrated with the Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and the HDB (Housing and Development Board) Hub. The station is underneath the junction of Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, Lorong 2 Toa Payoh and Lorong 6 Toa Payoh. The station was constructed as part of Phase I of the MRT system. In August 1985, Toa Payoh station was the first MRT station in Singapore to have its concrete structure completed. On 7 November 1987, the station was one of the first MRT stations to open for revenue service. The station has a bright yellow scheme with a set of coloured tiles at the concourse level.

The Toa Payoh Sports Hall is located in the heart of a residential community in the central region of Singapore and is part of the Toa Payoh Sports & Recreation Centre.The Sports Hall sits in Toa Payoh New Town, one of the earliest public housing estates in Singapore. The Toa Payoh Sports Hall was upgraded and converted to host the inaugural Youth Olympic Games’ weightlifting and volleyball competitions for the first time.With a seating capacity of 2,000 spectators the Toa Payoh Sports Hall has hosted a wide range of sport events.

Toa Payoh Dragon Playground is a playground located along Lorong 6 Toa Payoh in Toa Payoh, Singapore. The playground is a Dragon Playground, a type of playground that was initially popular in Toa Payoh and Ang Mo Kio, and is one of two remaining Dragon Playgrounds in Singapore.

600 @ Toa Payoh, formerly Central Cinema (中央戏院) and Kong Chian Cinema (光前戏院), is a commercial building and a former cinema in Toa Payoh town centre which was located near the Toa Payoh Public Library. The building currently houses a pool centre, amenities, eateries and a 24 hours McDonald's fast food restaurant.

Toa Payoh (simplified Chinese: 大巴窑; traditional Chinese: 大巴窯, Tamil: தோ பாயோ) is a planning area and matured residential town located in the northern part of the Central Region of Singapore. Toa Payoh planning area borders Bishan and Serangoon to the north, the Central Water Catchment to the northwest, Kallang to the south, Geylang to the southeast, Novena to the west and Hougang to the east. Toa Payoh New Town is situated in the western portion of the Toa Payoh planning area. The latter occupies a much larger area, encompassing estates such as Potong Pasir and Bidadari.

Toa Payoh Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Toa Payoh, Singapore.It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Balestier Khalsa FC. The stadium holds 3,896 people. It was taken over by the then Singapore Sports Council on 30 November 1973, and opened to the public on 1 March 1974.

The Burmese Buddhist Temple (also known as Maha Sasana Ramsi; Burmese: သာသနာ့ရံသီ မြန်မာဘုရားကျောင်း; Chinese: 缅甸玉佛寺; pinyin: Miǎndiàn yùfósì) is the oldest Theravada institution and the only Burmese Buddhist temple of its kind in Singapore. Founded in 1875, the temple moved from its original Kinta Road premises to Tai Gin Road off Ah Hood Road in Novena in 1988. The temple houses the largest pure white marble statue of the Buddha outside Myanmar, and has become a religious landmark for Burmese and Singaporean devotees to make merit and take part in merit-sharing activities alike.
