Jinghai Temple

The Tianfei Palace, officially the Mazu Cultural Palace and also known as the Tianhou Palace, is a restored temple of the Chinese sea-goddess Mazu, the deified form of the medieval Fujianese shamaness Lin Moniang, located in Fangta Park in Songjiang, Shanghai, in eastern China. Officially classified as a museum, the Tianfei Palace conducts Mazuist rites twice a year, on the traditional anniversaries of Lin Moniang's birth and death. It is also used as the site for an annual commemoration of Songjiang's city god Li Daiwen.

Yuejiang Tower (simplified Chinese: 阅江楼; traditional Chinese: 閱江樓; pinyin: Yuèjiāng Lóu; lit. 'view river tower') is situated on the top of Shizishan (Lion Mountain) to the northwest of downtown Nanjing, Jiangsu. The river referred to its name is the Yangtze River, which may be viewed to the north, while central Nanjing can be viewed to the south. In 1360, Zhu Yuanzhang defeated Chen Youliang’s 400,000 forces with his 80,000 army in Lu Longshan, which set up the basis for the reign of Ming Dynasty and for taking Nanjing as the capital. After proclaiming himself as the emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang changed Lu Longshan as the Lion Mountain in 1374. He ordered to build the Yuejiang Tower on top of the mountain and wrote the Note on Yuejiang Tower in person, although the tower was never built. Yuejiang Tower was built first time and opened to the outside world in 2001. The building is 52 m (171 ft) high, amounted to seven layers. With its distinct style of Ming Dynasty and classical royal makings, it is regarded as one of the Four Major Famous Buildings in Jiangnan with Yellow Crane Tower, Tengwang Pavilion and Yueyang Tower included. The architect is Professor Du Shunbao, a professor of Southeast University.

Nanjing West railway station (Chinese: 南京西站) is a railway station in Nanjing, China. Originally named Nanjing railway station, it was first opened in 1908. as the end point of the Shanghai–Nanjing Railway (a section of the Beijing–Shanghai Railway). Later, it also became the starting point of the Nanjing–Tongling Railway. Located in Nanjing's Xiaguan District, near the southern bank of the Yangtze River, opposite Nanjing North railway station on the northern side of the river (in Pukou), the station was a point where passengers traveling e.g. from Shanghai to Beijing would have to get off the train and board a river ferry, to resume their northward journey from the other station. After Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge was built, a new Nanjing railway station was constructed closer to the city center, and the original Nanjing railway station near the river was renamed to Nanjing West railway station, which name it has retained to this day. By the 21st century, the Nanjing West station saw only a few trains a day. This station suspended passenger services 25 March 2012, and will be converted to a railway museum.

Zhongshan Wharf (Chinese: 中山码头): located along Yangtze River, is a wharf in Xiaguan. It is near wharf No.7 of Port of Nanjing.

The Nanjing University of Finance & Economics (NUFE; simplified Chinese: 南京财经大学; traditional Chinese: 南京財經大學; pinyin: Nánjīng Cáijīng Dàxué), colloquially abbreviated as Nancai (Chinese: 南财; pinyin: Nán Cái), is a public university located in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. As indicated in its name, the university specializes in financial and economic disciplines, but also provides a wide range of degree programs in law, liberal arts, fine arts, science, and engineering. According to the Shanghai Ranking, NUFE ranks 11th among the universities in finance and economics in China.

Daosheng Christ's Church (Chinese: 基督教道胜堂), more commonly known as Daosheng Church (道胜堂), is a Protestant church located on North Zhongshan Road, in Gulou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.

The Porcelain Tower of Nanjing, part of the former Great Bao'en Temple, is a historical site located on the south bank of external Qinhuai River in Nanjing, China. It was a pagoda constructed in the 15th century during the Ming dynasty, but was mostly destroyed in the 19th century during the course of the Taiping Rebellion. A modern, full-size replica of it now exists in Nanjing.In 2010, Wang Jianlin, a Chinese businessman donated a billion yuan (US$156 million) to the city of Nanjing for its reconstruction. This is reported to be the largest single personal donation ever made in China. In December 2015, the modern replica and surrounding park were opened to the public.

High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University (Chinese: 南京師範大學附屬中學, or NSFZ/南師附中 for short) is a high school located in Nanjing, China. It was founded in 1902, and was known as High School Affiliated to National Central University (國立中央大學附屬中學) before 1949, and High School Affiliated to Nanjing University (南京大學附屬中學) during a short period later, until 1952. The school boasts two campuses. At its main campus, it has hosted the Nanjing campus of Caulfield Grammar School, an independent Australian school, which has run an internationalism program in China since 1998. Students from Caulfield live on the campus for five week programs, and during this time they participate in two day homestay visits with students from the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University. In 2007, the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University joined in a sister school partnership with Charlotte Country Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, US. Since 2007, the two schools have organized annual teacher exchanges and student visits. High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University is nationally and regionally recognized and received titles and awards such as National Model High School, Basic Education Reform Experiment School (Ministry of Education), Top Ten Schools of Basic Education in China, Key Middle School of Jiangsu, Model School of Jiangsu, and Top Four Schools of Jiangsu Province. The school is also a member of International School Connection. In 2007, the school became a member of International Baccalaureate and now offers IB Diploma Programme taught in English. In a 2016 ranking of Chinese high schools that send students to study in American universities, it ranked number 22 in mainland China in terms of the number of students entering top American universities.The school sets up several international exchange programs cooperated with Caulfield High School in Australia. Students from the two countries live together and have both Chinese and English Classes. The program not only provide students with an international studying environment, but also promote the relationship the two countries.

The Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge (simplified Chinese: 南京长江大桥; traditional Chinese: 南京長江大橋; pinyin: Nánjīng Chángjiāng Dàqiáo), previously called the First Nanjing Yangtze Bridge, is a double-decked road-rail truss bridge across the Yangtze River in Nanjing, Jiangsu, connecting the city's Pukou and Gulou districts. Its upper deck is part of China National Highway 104, spanning 4,588 metres (15,052 ft). Its lower deck, with a double-track railway, is 6,772 metres (22,218 ft) long, and completes the Beijing–Shanghai railway, which had been divided by the Yangtze for decades. Its right bridge consists of nine piers, with the maximum span of 160 metres (525 ft) and the total length of 1,576 metres (5,171 ft). The bridge carries approximately 80,000 vehicles and 190 trains per day. The bridge was completed and open for traffic in 1968. It was the third bridge over the Yangtze after the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and the Chongqing Baishatuo Yangtze River Bridge. It was the first heavy bridge designed and built using Chinese expertise.

The Qinhuai River (秦淮河) is a tributary of the Yangtze with a total length of 110 km. It flows through central Nanjing and is called "Nanjing's mother river". It is the "life blood" of the city. The Qinhuai River is divided into inner and outer rivers. The scenic belt along the Qinhuai River meets with the Confucius Temple at the center and the river serving as a bond. The belt, featuring attractions such as Zhanyuan Garden, the Confucius Temple, Egret Islet, China Gate as well as the sailing boats in the river and pavilions and towers on the riverbanks, is a blend of historic sites, gardens, barges, streets, pavilions, towers, folk culture and customs.

Nanjing North railway station (Chinese: 南京北站) is a railway station in Nanjing's Pukou District which was built in 1914. Located near the northern shore of the Yangtze River, it was a busy station because people had to get off the train and cross Yangtze River by ferry, and to resume their journey from the Nanjing West railway station on the southern bank of the river.

The Nanjing Broadcast Television Tower (Chinese: 江苏南京广播电视塔) in Jiangsu Province is a free-standing telecommunications and observation tower whose antenna reaches up to 318.5 metres (1045 feet). It was built in 1996 in Nanjing, China.
