Hell's Mouth (Cornish: Ganow Yfarn) is situated northeast of Gwithian on the South West Coast Path in the county of Cornwall, England, UK. The land is owned by the National Trust. It is part of a group of cliff faces in the area, with a café not far from the edge. In 2011 a jogger on the Cornish Coastal Path noticed cracks in the rock, which is made up of mudstones and sandstones of the Porthtowan Formation and slates/siltstones of the Mylor Slate Formation from the Devonian. The route of the path was diverted as the cracks enlarged. On 23 September approximately 100,000 tonnes (110,000 tons) of rock fell into the sea. Unusually the rockfall was captured on video.

Penponds Viaduct is a railway viaduct which carries the Cornish Main Line west of Camborne in Cornwall, England. It crosses over a small valley containing the southern arm of the Red River, and a minor road known as Viaduct Lane. The Hayle Railway opened the railway through this site in 1837 to link Hayle and Redruth. To overcome a significant change in elevation an inclined plane was built to the east of the present viaduct. When the West Cornwall Railway took over the route, it built a timber trestle viaduct as part of a more gently-graded route which by-passed the inclined plane. The present-day viaduct was built by the Great Western Railway in 1888 as part of a programme to replace the timber viaducts on the line and prepare the single-track route for double track. It is built of brick arches on stone piers.

It is situated approximately two miles (3 km) east of Hayle and about two miles south-southeast of Gwithian churchtown. The name "Connor" was originally the name of Connerton, the medieval manor of the parish of Gwithian. The village straddles the old course of the A30 road but has now been bypassed and the new road passes to the north. Facilities include a school (Connor Downs Primary School),a spar petrol station, a pub, a Sunday school and a garage.
