Nonnenbach (Tollense)

Lieps is a lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. At an elevation of 14.8 m, its surface area is 4.31 km².

Alt Rehse is a village and a former municipality in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. On 1 July 2008, it was incorporated into the town Penzlin. During the Nazi era it was the site of an Institute of Genetics, run by Dr Hermann Boehm, and the Führerschule der Deutschen Ärzteschaft (Leadership School of German Medicine). At this school, doctors, nurses and midwives attended a six-week course, during which they studied Nazi racial ideology, genetics, "racial science" and eugenics under Boehm. Students wore uniforms and were expected to participate in sports as well as hard daily exercise and to carry out physical labour. It was the eventual intention that all German medical professionals would pass through the school.Buildings that accommodated the students were built in the style of traditional, rural thatched cottages. The majority still carry inscriptions indicating when they were built: "Year 3,4,5", i.e. 1936, the third year of the new, Nazi era.

Ziemenbach is a river of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is a section of the upper course of river Tollense, a tributary of river Peene. The Ziemenbach discharges into the lake Lieps, which is drained by the Tollense.

The Commandry of Nemerow (German: Komturei Nemerow or Komturei Gardow) was a commandry of the Knights Hospitaller in the village of Klein Nemerow in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It existed from 1285 until 1648. It was originally centred on Gardow, a now-ruined village near Wokuhl-Dabelow.

Prillwitz is a small village in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania), on the shores of the lake Lieps, Germany. It is part of the municipality Hohenzieritz. It lies approximately 125 kilometres north of Berlin through the B96 or 205 kilometres through the A20. The town has a church and a small castle converted into a hotel and restaurant.

Tollensesee is a zungenbecken lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It belongs to the Mecklenburg Lake District. At an elevation of 14.8 m, its surface area is 17.4 km². Its maximum depth is about 46 m. The lake is 10.4 km long and between 1.5 and 2.5 km wide. The entire lake lies within the administrative area of the city of Neubrandenburg. In the south part of the lake there is island Fischerinsel.

Mecklenburg-Strelitz was a Kreis (district) in the southern part of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. Neighboring districts were (from the north clockwise) Demmin, Ostvorpommern Uecker-Randow, the districts Uckermark, Oberhavel and Ostprignitz-Ruppin in Brandenburg, and the district Müritz. The district-free city Neubrandenburg was nearly surrounded by the district.
