St Peter's Church, Mansergh

Mansergh is a village and civil parish in the Westmorland and Furness district of the English county of Cumbria. It includes the village of Mansergh and the hamlet of Old Town, and is located 3.3 miles (5.3 km) north of Kirkby Lonsdale, 9.8 miles (15.8 km) south east of Kendal and 53.2 miles (85.6 km) south of Carlisle. In the 2001 census the parish had a population of 141, decreasing at the 2011 census to 124. St Peter's Parish Church was built in 1880, and is Grade II listed.

Killington is a village and civil parish in the South Lakeland district of the county of Cumbria, England. It had a population of 152 in 2001, At the 2011 census Killington was grouped with Firbank giving a total population of 261.Killington gives its name to Killington Lake, after which Killington Lake services is named, although this is located in the neighbouring parish of New Hutton. Killington Hall, in the centre of the village, dates largely from c. 1640, was altered in 1803, and preserves the ruins of a 15th-century pele tower adjoining the main building. The Hall is adjacent to All Saints' Church, which dates from the 14th century, with 17th-century alterations, and was originally built as the chapel to the Hall.

Middleton-on-Lune railway station was located in Westmorland, England, (now in Cumbria), serving the hamlet and rural locale of Middleton on the Ingleton Branch Line. It was opened as Middleton in 1861 and renamed Middleton-on-Lune on 19 July 1926, closing in 1931.

Hutton Roof is a village and civil parish in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, England, close to Kirkby Lonsdale and Hutton Roof Crags. Historically in Westmorland, the parish includes the hamlet of Newbiggin. In the 2001 census the parish had a population of 193, increasing at the 2011 census to 218. Army Chaplain and Victoria Cross recipient Theodore Hardy (1863-1918) was Vicar of Hutton Roof while serving in the First World War.

Nether Burrow is a small hamlet in the Lunesdale Valley of North Lancashire, England. It is a small settlement on the banks of the River Lune. There is not much there but there is a pub called the Highwayman Inn. It is on the A683 road between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale. It forms part of the civil parish with the unusual name of Burrow-with-Burrow.

Leck Beck is a watercourse in Lancashire with its source on Crag Hill in Cumbria between Leck Fell and Casterton Fell. For several kilometres near the start of its course, the water flows into the Ease Gill Cave System, part of The Three Counties System, the longest cave system in Britain (and 26th longest in the world) via 14 major sink holes, to resurge at a major spring at Leck Beck Head.The rising of Leck Beck Head SD660 800 was dived extensively in the 1980s and required underwater digging and the use of an air chisel to make progress. The overflow for this rising, Witches Cave (Yorkshire), has been dived through a 300m sump into Witches II. A dry entrance was dug into Witches II from the surface in 2010.The Beck flows through Leck, Cowan Bridge and Overtown before joining the River Lune near Nether Burrow.
