Púbol is a small town located in the municipality of La Pera, in the comarca (county) of Baix Empordà, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The artist Salvador Dalí lived at the Castle of Púbol; in 1982, he was named "Marquis of Dalí of Púbol" (spa., "Marqués de Dalí de Púbol"). In fact Salvador Dalí did not live there, he bought the castle for his wife, Gala, who lived there and granted him to visit her, only when she wanted. After Gala died in 1982 at Púbol where she rests in her crypt, Dalí refused to leave the premises, but he had to be hospitalized, lived at his museum in Figueres for a while and died in a clinic in Barcelona in 1989. The Castle of Púbol is a museum now. It contains many works of art by Salvador Dalí. Púbol, along with Cadaqués and Figueres, forms the so-called "Dalinian Triangle".

The Castle of Púbol or Gala Dalí Castle House-Museum (Catalan: Castell de Púbol or Casa-Museu Castell Gala Dalí; Spanish: Castillo de Púbol or Casa-Museo Castillo Gala Dalí), located in Púbol in the comarca of Baix Empordà, Girona, Catalonia, Spain, is a medieval building where the surrealist painter Salvador Dalí's enormous creative efforts were focused on a single person, his wife Gala, with the aim of providing her with a unique sanctuary and resting place. Gala is buried at the castle. Together with the Salvador Dalí House Museum in Portlligat and the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres, they form the Empordà Dalinian triangle.The castle is property of the Spanish State, although managed by the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation.

Sant Miquel de Cruïlles is a Benedictine monastery in Cruïlles, Monells i Sant Sadurní de l'Heura, Catalonia, Spain. The 11th-century building, in First Romanesque style, was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural landmark in 1931.

Flaçà is a town in the Gironès county of Girona Province, Catalonia, Spain. It occupies an area of 6.67 square kilometers and extends the hills of the Lloreda Valley and alluvial plain of the Ter river. It borders the Ter River to the north and the municipality of Sant Jordi Desvalls to the west with the municipalities of Sant Joan de Mollet Sant Marti Vell to the south and to east, the towns of Foixà and la Pera. The current population is 1,070 people. Flaçà is served by Flaçà railway station, on the Barcelona–Cerbère railway. It was formerly also on the 750 mm (2 ft 5+1⁄2 in) gauge Palamós–Girona–Banyoles railway, which opened to Palamós by 1887 and was extended to Girona by 1921. Service on the line continued until 1956.
