It is surrounded by 4,900 surface parking spaces in four different color-coded lots (Red, Blue, Yellow and Green). Its anchor stores are Curacao, a Dillard's clearance outlet, J. C. Penney, and Macy's.

The Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas located at the Springs Preserve, in Las Vegas, Nevada is one of 7 Nevada State Museums operated by the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. The name was changed from the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society in 2008 when the museum moved from Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas to the Springs Preserve campus. The museum houses items from the development of Las Vegas as well as the natural history of the area. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm, closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Las Vegas Springs Preserve consists of 180 acres (73 ha) dedicated to nature walks and displays and is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Valley Water District. The Gardens at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve, previously known as the Desert Demonstration Gardens opened in 1980 at another location. The gardens now occupy 8 acres (3.2 ha) within the Springs Preserve site.

The Las Vegas Springs or Big Springs is the site of a natural oasis, known traditionally as a cienega. For more than 15,000 years, springs broke through the desert floor, creating grassy meadows (called las vegas by Mexican explorers). The bubbling springs were a source of water for Native Americans living here at least 5,000 years ago. Known as The Birthplace of Las Vegas it sustained travelers of the Old Spanish Trail and Mormons who came to settle the West. The springs' source is the Las Vegas aquifer.The springs are now a part of the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. Las Vegas Springs was once the site of three springs, running into two large pools of water. It is a site historically known for a gathering of pioneers and Native Americans and early settlers in the Las Vegas Valley. In 1905, it provided the water source to the budding town and railroad. Once pipe lines were laid and wells were drilled, the water table dropped, and the springs stopped flowing to the surface in 1962. The site is currently undergoing rehabilitation to protect what remains architecturally and archaeologically.Now, it is 180 acres of historic land located just west of Downtown Las Vegas. It is open to the public.

The Gardens at the Springs Preserve, is an 8-acre (3.2 ha) desert botanical garden located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The gardens are currently located in the Las Vegas Springs Preserve at 333 S. Valley View Blvd. Designed to teach water conservation through water-efficient landscaping, the Gardens offers free classes, demonstrations and expert advice.

The Southern Nevada Zoological-Botanical Park, informally known as the Las Vegas Zoo, was a 3-acre (1.2 ha), nonprofit zoo and botanical garden located in Las Vegas, Nevada that operated from 1981 to September 20, 2013. It was located northwest of the Las Vegas Strip, about 15 minutes away. It focused primarily on the education of desert life and habitat protection. Its mission statement was to "educate and entertain the public by displaying a variety of plants and animals". An admission fee was charged. The park included a small gem exhibit area and a small gift shop at the main exit. The gift shop and admission fees helped support the zoo.

Texas Station is a hotel and casino located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Station Casinos. Texas native Frank Fertitta Jr., the hotel-casino's original owner, chose the Texas theme to appeal to customers from his home state. Fertitta sold the hotel-casino for $95 million to Station Casinos, his former company, prior to its opening on July 12, 1995. It was the largest hotel-casino in North Las Vegas at the time of its opening, with a 60,000 sq ft (5,600 m2) casino and a 200-room hotel. Texas Station has been expanded several times, including a $55 million expansion that began in 1998. The expansion added a food court, a child-care facility, and a parking garage, as well as additional movie theater screens and casino space. A $65 million expansion took place during 2000, and included the addition of a convention hall, a bowling alley, new restaurants, and two wedding chapels.

Fiesta Rancho is a hotel and casino located on 25.46 acres (10.30 ha) of land at 2400 North Rancho Drive in North Las Vegas, Nevada, across the street from the Texas Station hotel and casino. The Maloof family opened the Fiesta on December 14, 1994, with 100 rooms and a 25,000 sq ft (2,300 m2) casino. The resort was popular among local residents, prompting a 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) expansion that began in 1995. The expansion included a drive-through sportsbook, a remodeled buffet, and a larger casino. A $26 million, 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) expansion took place in 1999, adding a food court, a parking garage, and additional casino space. At the time, a majority of the Fiesta's slot machines played video poker, and the casino had been proclaimed as "the Royal Flush Capital of the World," having paid out over 118,500 royal flushes won through its video poker machines. Station Casinos purchased the Fiesta in 2001 and renamed it as Fiesta Rancho to differentiate it from its new sister property, Fiesta Henderson.

The Spanish Mediterranean-style house has four bedrooms, nine bathrooms and covers 27,000 square feet. It was built in 1952 by theater developer Horst Schmidt. Jackson lived there from 2007 until his death in 2009. In 2022, the home was listed for sale for a asking price of $9.5 million.In late 2006, Michael returned to the United States after living in Western Asia for nearly a year. He lived there with his 3 children. He moved to Vegas in attempt to negotiate a contract for a residency on the strip. The master bedroom included a sitting area and a mini-bar with a bathroom. The home also included a bar, a two-story chapel, courtyard, as well as a 2,000 square foot guest house. The home is now used for private events and gatherings.

Advanced Technologies Academy (A-TECH) is a magnet public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It focuses on integrating technology with academics for students in grades 9-12. The magnet school program was founded in 1994 and is part of the Clark County School District. The first year included only 9th and 10th grade, adding a grade each year. The first graduating class was 1997, and the first graduating class with all four years of attendance was 1998. The magnet school focuses on computer and technology related study fields. As of 2021, A-TECH is ranked #1 in the state of Nevada and #152 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.
