Ikeda Station (池田駅, Ikeda-eki) is a railway station in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line operated by the Hankyu Railway.

CupNoodles Museum Osaka Ikeda (カップヌードルミュージアム 大阪池田) is a museum dedicated to instant noodles and Cup Noodles, as well as its creator and founder, Momofuku Ando. The museum is located in Ikeda in Osaka, and is located within walking distance of Ikeda Station on the Hankyu-Takarazuka Line. Admission is free.There is also a CupNoodles Museum located in Yokohama, which features four stories of exhibitions and attractions. This location includes various exhibits to display the history of instant ramen and Momofuku Ando's story.

Itsuō Art Museum (逸翁美術館, Itsuō Bijutsukan) opened in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, in 1957. The new building opened in 1997. The collection, built up by founder Kobayashi Ichizō, whose pseudonym was Itsuō, comprises some 5,500 works, including fifteen Important Cultural Properties and twenty Important Art Objects.

Satsukiyama Zoo (五月山動物園) is located at Satsukiyama Park, at the base of Mount Satsuki in Ikeda, Osaka, Japan, opened in April, 1957. The zoo is the municipal zoo of Ikeda. The zoo is the second smallest zoo (3000 m2) in all zoos belonging to Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA).

The Ikeda Elementary School stabbing was a school stabbing and mass murder that occurred in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, on 8 June 2001, in which Mamoru Takuma, a 37-year-old ex-convict with a history of mentally disturbed and anti-social behavior, stabbed eight students to death and seriously wounded fifteen others in a knife attack that lasted several minutes. Takuma was sentenced to death in August 2003 and executed in September 2004. As of 2023, it is currently the deadliest school attack in Japanese history.

Kawanishi (川西市, Kawanishi-shi) is a city located in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. As of 30 September 2022, the city had an estimated population of 155,165 and a population density of 2900 persons per km². The total area of the city is 53.44 square kilometres (20.63 sq mi).

Ishibashi handai-mae Station (石橋阪大前駅, Ishibashi handai-mae eki, station number: HK-48) is a train station located in Ikeda, Osaka, but is on the border with Toyonaka to the south and Minoh to the east. It serves as a transfer point for the Hankyu Minoo Line on one side and on the other side is an express station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line．The station has five platforms connected by tunnels, two for Osaka-Takarazuka service, and three for Minoo service. The station is near to one of the three campuses of Osaka University, though the campus is physically located in neighbouring Toyonaka City. The station is surrounded by bars, karaoke boxes, and izakaya restaurants along with more traditional small-stall shopping streets. The word Ishibashi literally means Stone Bridge, referring to the old stone street bridge immediately north of the station over a small river that serves as the northern end of the shopping area, which is called Akai hashi.
