Haslach (Rot)

The Schmiddis (also: Schmiddisbach) is one of the headstreams of the river Haslach. It is situated in the region of Upper Swabia in Baden Württemberg, Germany.

Rot an der Rot Abbey (also referred to as Roth, Münchroth, Münchenroth, Mönchroth or Mönchsroth) was a Premonstratensian monastery in Rot an der Rot in Upper Swabia, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was the first Premonstratensian monastery in the whole of Swabia. The imposing structure of the former monastery is situated on a hill between the valleys of the rivers Rot and Haslach. The monastery church, dedicated to St Verena, and the convent buildings are an important part of the Upper Swabian Baroque Route. Apart from the actual monastic buildings, a number of other structures have been preserved among which are the gates and the economy building.

Tannkosh was a large airshow and fly-in held annually in July at Tannheim, upper Swabia in Germany.The event was the closest European equivalent to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and, although smaller than the Oshkosh airshow, Tannkosh attracted hundreds of private aircraft from all over Europe.Tannkosh derived its name from that of the more widely known airshow upon which it was modeled, Oshkosh, and Tannheim Flugplatz, the aerodrome near Tannheim, Germany, where the event was held.The 2013 Tannkosh airshow took place from August 23 to 25, 2013.In October 2014, it was announced that there would be no Tannkosh 2015, nor any more to follow.
