·Boreas is a defunct restaurant located in Heeze in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin stars from the period 2002–2009 and two Michelin stars from the period 2010–2016. GaultMillau awarded them 19.0 points (out of 20) in 2011.Boreas was run by head chef Nico Boreas and his wife and maître Sonja Boreas.The restaurant was member of Les Patrons Cuisiniers.On 25 April 2016 it was announced that the restaurant would close on 23 July 2016. The owners wanted to do something else and an interesting party appeared to take over the restaurant. New owner is Jan Sobecki, the two-starred chef of the closed down restaurant Chapeau!, who started the new restaurant Tribeca in mid August. In the spring of 2018, Nico and Sonja Boreas opened a new restaurant in Roermond, called Sabero. A place of the same name in Spain, but also an anagram of their previous restaurant Boreas. This eatery was also immediately awarded two Michelin stars.

It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded two Michelin stars for 2017.Head chef of the restaurant is Jan Sobecki.The restaurant is housed in a building founded in 1916. Before Sobecki moved in, the building housed the restaurant Boreas, ran by head chef Nico Boreas. Sobecki, who used to work at the two starred Chapeau! that closed on 1 August 2016, could take over the restaurant smoothly. The restaurant was opened on 15 August 2016.

Heeze railway station

Heeze is a railway station in Heeze, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 May 1977 and is on the Eindhoven–Weert railway. The services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The first station was 1 km away from its current location and was called Heeze-Leende. This station opened on 1 November 1913 and closed on 1 May 1977, although was closed for 2 months in 1945.

Ven is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Heeze-Leende, halfway between the towns of Heeze and Leende.Ven is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Heeze. Ven has no place name signs. It was home to 174 people in 1840. Nowadays, it consists of about 40 houses.It was first mentioned between 1838 and 1857 as "de Ven", and means peat excavation area.

't Nupke, Geldrop

't Nupke is a windmill located on Molenakker 3 in Geldrop, North Brabant, Netherlands. Built in 1843 on a hill, the windmill functioned as a gristmill. The mill was built as a tower mill, and its sails have a span of 25.20 metres (82.7 ft). The mill has been a national monument (nr 16032) since 15 May 1968. The name of the mill comes from the piece of land it is located on.

The Strabrechtse Heide is a natural heathland area about 1500 ha in size, located in the municipalities of Heeze-Leende, Someren and Geldrop-Mierlo, in North Brabant, the Netherlands. It is largely under the care of Staatsbosbeheer. In July 2010, around 200 hectares of the area were damaged or destroyed in a wildfire that took over a week to put out.
