Maeztu

Arraia-Maeztu (Basque pronunciation: [arai.a maes̻tu], Spanish: Arraya-Maestu [aˈraʝa maˈestu]), is a municipality located in the province of Álava, in the Basque Country, northern Spain. This municipality was formed in 1958 by the merger of the municipalities of Apellániz, Arraya and Laminoria. It was originally called Maestu, but in 1987 adopted its current name.

The Izki Natural Park (Basque: Izkiko natura parkea, Spanish: Parque natural de Izki) is in Álava, Basque Country, Spain. The park encompasses the valley of the Izki river, which is mostly covered by Quercus pyrenaica forests. Korres is the only settlement within the park.

It is located to the southeast of Álava and covers an area of 534.87 km² with a population of 3179 people (2010). The capital lies in Santa Cruz de Campezo. It includes the municipalities of Arraya-Maestu, Bernedo, Campezo, Lagrán, Peñacerrada and Valle de Arana as well as the lands of the Parzonería de Encía and the communities of Laño, Pipaón and Peñacerrada. It brings together a total of 47 locations.

Bujanda is a village in Álava, Basque Country, Spain. The parish church contains the incorrupt remains of San Fausto Labrador, which has in the past given it some fame. At its largest, the village had around 150 inhabitants; but migration in the 1960s resulted in a great reduction in population. Its future is oriented towards culture, sports and ecology due to its proximity to Antoñana (a walled medieval village), the Nature Park of Izki, greenways and mountain bike routes, hiking; as well as to very attractive areas such as Merindad de Estella, Treviño, Rioja and the Basque Coast.
