Heirin-ji (平林寺) is a Rinzai temple of the Myoshin-ji branch located in Niiza city, Saitama prefecture, Japan, a city just outside Tokyo.

Niiza Station (新座駅, Niiza-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Niiza, Saitama, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Jumonji University (十文字学園女子大学, Juumonji gakuen joshi daigaku) is a private women's college in Niiza, Saitama, Japan, established in 1996. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1922. The current President of Jumonji University is Fumio Shimura.

Camp Asaka is a base of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. It lies in four municipalities: Nerima, Tokyo; Asaka, Saitama; Wako, Saitama; and Niiza, Saitama. It serves as the headquarters of the Eastern Army. The camp was originally the site of a golf course from 1930 to 1940. It served as the site of the Imperial Japanese Army Junior Military Academy from 1941 to 1945, and as a United States Army camp (South Camp Drake) from 1945 to 1960, during which time it housed part of the 1st Cavalry Division. The Asaka Shooting Range was a firing range constructed on the site for the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, and hosted pistol and rifle shooting and the shooting part of the modern pentathlon. It was the temporary shooting venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Rikkyo Niiza Junior and Senior High School (立教新座中学校・高等学校, Rikkyō Niiza Chūgakkō Kōtōgakkō) is a private boys' junior and senior high school in Niiza, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, in the Tokyo metropolitan area. It is affiliated with Rikkyo University. First established at Ikebukuro in 1948, Rikkyo Senior High School moved to a new campus at Niiza in 1960. The landmark school chapel designed by architect Antonin Raymond, was consecrated in 1963. In 2000 the school was renamed Rikkyo Niiza Senior High School and on the same campus a new junior high school program was established, matching developments at Ikebukuro where Rikkyo Ikebukuro Junior and Senior High School provides a similar six year integrated high school program. The schools' current main buildings as well as St. Paul's Field and gymnasium all opened in 2014.Since 1990, adjacent to the junior and senior high school facilities, the campus at Niiza also serves as a secondary campus for first and second year undergraduate students of Rikkyo University.

Shiki Station (志木駅, Shiki-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Niiza, Saitama, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tobu Railway. Despite its name, the station building is not actually located in Shiki. The city of Shiki has only one station, Yanasegawa Station, which is the next stop after Shiki Station on the Tōbu Tōjō Line.

Keio Shiki Senior High School (慶應義塾志木高等学校, Keiō Gijuku Shiki Kōtōgakkō) is a private boys' senior high school, affiliated with Keio University, in Shiki, Saitama Prefecture.

Taki-no Castle (滝の城, Taki-no-jō, literally means "waterfall castle") is a flatland-hilltop Japanese castle ruin located in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. It was on a key route between the northern Kanto Plain and Hachioji. The most recent structure was built in the 15th century by Ōishi Sadahisa and existed during the 16th-century Sengoku period of Japanese history. In 1546, the Hojo of Odawara took control and in 1569 possession passed to the Takeda. Then Go-Hōjō clan expanded and improved the defences of the castle.After 1590, the castle was abandoned simultaneously with the arrival of Tokugawa Ieyasu into the region, having outlived its purpose. The castle is now a ruin, with clear archeological evidence of the foundations of a number buildings and a dry moat. The castle name "Taki-no-jō", which literally means "waterfall castle", is due to a waterfall that exists on the eastern part of the castle grounds. The castle grounds now form a recreational park including walking paths, a children's play area and a baseball field. The park is called Taki-no-jō Castle Site Park (滝の城址公園, Taki-no-jō-shi Kōen).
