Glisy

Lamotte-Brebière is a former railway station serving the French town of Lamotte-Brebière in the Somme department. It is situated on the Paris–Lille railway. The station was served by local TER Picardie services between Lille and Amiens. It was closed for passenger trains in 2011.

The 1346 Battle of Crécy, a major English victory early in the Hundred Years' War, also took place in this department.

Blangy-Tronville (French pronunciation: [blɑ̃ʒi tʁɔ̃vil]; Picard: Blangin-Tronville) is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France.

The Jules Verne Viaduct is a viaduct constructed in 1987 that crosses the River Somme near Camon, east of Amiens. It is 943 metres (3,094 ft) long and allows circumvention of the city by roads. It has a deck depth of 3.2 metres (10 ft) and a deck width of 11.45 metres (37.6 ft). It is located at 49° 53' 2.28" N, 2° 22' 18.42" E. It was designed by Charles Lavigne.

Boves is a railway station located in Boves, France. It is situated on the Paris–Lille railway. It is served by regional TER Hauts-de-France trains from Amiens to Creil and Compiègne.

The Noye (French pronunciation: [nwa]; Picard: Noée) is a river in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. The Noye is located in the northern part of the Picard plateau. It is the left tributary of the Avre river, which is itself a left tributary of the Somme. The Noye starts near the commune of Vendeuil-Caply and extends to a length of 33 kilometres (21 mi). It flows through the departments of Oise and Somme at Breteuil and Ailly-sur-Noye, entering the Avre at Boves, 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) southeast of Amiens.

The Canton of Boves is a former canton situated in the department of the Somme and in the former Picardy region of northern France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It had 20,790 inhabitants (2012).

Longueau British Cemetery is a First World War cemetery of Commonwealth soldiers in France, located to the east of Longueau, a suburb south-east of Amiens, Somme, France. The cemetery was begun in April 1918 and contains 204 burials, 14 of which are unidentified. Two Second World War airmen are also interred in the cemetery.
