Hoffman Corners is an unincorporated community in the towns of Cottage Grove and Pleasant Springs, Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. Hoffman Corners was named for its first postmaster, Gilbert Hoffman, who opened the community's post office in 1857.

Door Creek (also Buckeye, Deer Creek) is an unincorporated community located in the town of Cottage Grove, Dane County, Wisconsin, United States.

The village is located partially within the Town of Cottage Grove. The village was named from a settler's cottage in a grove near the village site.

It is located 10 nautical miles (12 mi, 19 km) east of the central business district of Madison, near the village of Cottage Grove. This airport was included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility, but is not listed in the 2021–2025 NPIAS.

The Oaks Golf Course is a public, 18-hole layout located in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, United States. It opened in 2003. It was named one of Golf Digest magazine's "best new courses" in 2004.The course has six par 3s, five par 5s, and nine par 4s for a total par of 71. The Oaks uses bent grass for its tees, fairways, and greens and was designed with the natural landscape in mind, according to course architect Greg Martin.

Hope was an unincorporated community, now a neighborhood, located in the former town of Blooming Grove and Cottage Grove in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. Hope, as of 2020, now lies partially within the city of Madison making it a neighborhood rather than an unincorporated community. Hope does still extend into the unincorporated town of Cottage Grove.

Lake Kegonsa State Park is a state park of Wisconsin, United States, on the northeast shore of Lake Kegonsa. It is located in Dane County southeast of Madison, Wisconsin. The park consists of forest, prairie, and wetlands. Known for its campground, beach, and approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) of hiking trails, the park offers swimming, fishing, water-skiing, sailing, and a boat landing. Lake Kegonsa itself covers 3,209 acres (12.99 km2) and is more than 30 feet (9 m) deep. It was created by a glacier during the last ice age approximately 12,000 years ago.
