Maplehurst Wood is a 31.6-hectare (78-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the northern outskirts of Hastings in East Sussex.This wood has probably existed since the Middle Ages and a large part of it is still semi-natural. It has a variety of woodland types and a network of rides and streams. The wood is locally important for its breeding birds such as greater spotted woodpecker, tawny owl and nuthatch.

Brede Waterworks (grid reference TQ 813 178) is a waterworks at Brede, East Sussex, England. It was built to supply Hastings with drinking water. The waterworks still houses two of the three stationary steam engines that were used to pump water from Brede to reservoirs at Fairlight and Baldslow.

Ore Place are the ruins of a significant late medieval manor house in the northern outskirts of Hastings, East Sussex, England. The remaining parts of the building consist of walls up to 3m high and 0.7m thick and below ground archaeological remains. It is a Scheduled monument.

St Helen's Wood is a 34.6-hectare (85-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Hastings in East Sussex. It is owned and managed by the St Helens Park Preservation Society.The wood has many broad-leaved helleborines. There are also areas of grassland which are managed by horse grazing. Meadow flowers include red bartsia and green-winged orchids.There is access from St Helen's Wood Road.

Doleham railway station is a small, single-platform wayside halt in Doleham, East Sussex, England. It is on the Marshlink line, and train services are provided by Southern. The station is very isolated and serves only a handful of houses in the immediate area. There is an approximate daily figure of 8 passengers a day pre-covid.

Hastings Cemetery is a cemetery in Hastings, East Sussex, located off the Ridge road. The cemetery was opened on 28 November 1856. The Church of England section was consecrated by Ashurst Gilbert, Bishop of Chichester, followed by a service in All Saints Church.Hastings Crematorium is located within the cemetery. It was built in 1955, incorporating two Gothic-style burial chapels built in 1856 of local sandstone.

The Pilot Field is a football stadium in Hastings, East Sussex. It is home to Hastings United men's and women's teams. The men's team currently play in the Isthmian League premier division, and the women's team currently play in the LSERFL division one south. The club have used the ground since 1985 after the old Hastings United folded, having previously used the ground between 1920 and 1948. The current capacity stands at 4,050 although over 9,000 have been known to attend events in the past and the closure of the grass bank has decreased the capacity.
