FC Parson Drove

Parson Drove is a fen village and civil parish in the Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. A linear settlement, it is 6 miles (10 km) west of Wisbech, the nearest town. The village is named after the central thoroughfare along which the village developed, a green drove, much wider than the current metalled road (B1166). The population at the 2001 Census was 1,030. The city of Peterborough is 19 miles (31 km) to the west, and the town of King's Lynn is 21 miles (34 km) to the east.

Murrow East railway station was a station in Murrow, Cambridgeshire. It was on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway line between Wisbech and Peterborough. There was another station in the settlement, Murrow West railway station, on the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint Railway.

St John the Baptist's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Parson Drove, Cambridgeshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands at the east end of the village, on the north side of the B1169 road, some 6 miles (10 km) west of Wisbech.

Murrow is a village in the civil parish of Wisbech St Mary, in Cambridgeshire, England. The village is on Murrow Bank, the B1187 road, 5 miles (8 km) west from the town of Wisbech. Its population is included in the civil parish of Parson Drove. Murrow has a village store, and The Bell Inn public house which is owned by Elgood's Brewery.

The Museum of Technology the History of Gadgets and Gizmos (formerly The Museum of Technology, The Great War and WWII) is a technology museum in Throckenholt, a village in Lincolnshire, England, UK. The museum was originally started in the Old Town of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. After operating there for 15 years, the collection moved to a new, purpose-built centre in Throckenholt. The trustees spent four years creating the new space to house the collection. The new museum opened in August 2016. The displayed objects present the evolution of electrical, electronic, and warfare technology from 1850 to 1980, including World War I and World War II. The museum closes from October to May and opens on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays during the summer months. Details of opening times are shown on the web site www.museumoftechnology.org.uk Many of the artefacts on display can be demonstrated, allow 1 to 2 hours to see the eclectic collection.The museum's former Hemel Hempstead site is due to reopen as a manicure salon and beauty parlour.

Throckenholt is a village in the civil parish of Sutton St Edmund (where the population is listed) in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. It is located close to the border of Cambridgeshire about 16 miles (26 km) south-east of Spalding, 14 miles (23 km) west of Wisbech and 10 miles (16 km) south of Holbeach. The Museum of Technology, The Great War and WWII is in the village and opened its doors in 2016. Throckenholt Priory was sited here, it was a hermitage and chapel in existence from at least 1107–1540. It was granted to Thorney Abbey by Nigel, Bishop of Ely.Throckenholt was written as 'Trokenholt' in the 1240 Papal Rolls.

Tholomas Drove is a hamlet in Wisbech St Mary civil parish, part of the Fenland district in the Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. The population is included in the civil parish of Parson Drove. In 1989, there were 120 residents. The origins of the name are unclear but it has also been written as Tholomer's Drove and Tallamass Drove.

Gedney Hill is a village and civil parish in South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 737. Guyhirn (sometimes spelled Guyhirne) is a village near the town of Wisbech in Cambridgeshire, England. It is on the northern bank, the North Brink, of the River Nene, at the junction of the A141 with the A47. The population is included in the civil parish of Wisbech St Mary. It is notable chiefly for the Chapel of Ease, a rare example of church architecture of the Interregnum (1649–1660), and as a key crossing point of the River Nene.

Guyhirn Chapel of Ease, also known as Guyhirn Old Church, is a small rectangular chapel in Guyhirn, Cambridgeshire noted for being built during the Puritan Commonwealth of England. It has survived relatively unchanged since this time, and is a Grade II* listed building under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
