Jaya Engineering College is an educational institute located in Thiruninravur, Tamil Nadu, India. The college is ISO 9001:2000 certified and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.It is situated 7 km west of Avadi, 25 km from Chennai Central station and 22 km from Tiruvallur. Vilinjiyambakkam Lake, or Vilinjiyambakkam aeri, is a rain-fed reservoir in Avadi, Chennai, India, that is filled during the monsoon seasons. The lake is spread over an area of 37 acres. Dry during summers, the lake has been used for dumping sewage and garbage in recent years.

Sri Irudhayaleeswarar sivan temple is a Hindu temple, located at Thirunindravur, Chennai, India. This temple has a trustee which was formed in the late 1920s by a leading industrialist Mr.P.S.Saathappa Chettiar from Coimbatore. This trustee is maintained by his successors.
