Ven-Zelderheide

Aaldonk is a small area with just a dozen houses; it is part of the municipality of Gennep (in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands). Most of the area is agricultural and it is closely linked to the nearby village of Ottersum and on the other side to 'de Panoven', another agricultural area.

The Kendel, sometimes also called Hommersumer Kendel to distinguish it from other Kendels, is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that originates near Weeze and flows into the Niers after about 25 km (16 mi) near Goch-Hommersum, on the border with the Netherlands.

The Klever Reichswald is an Imperial forest in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) between the rivers Rhine and Meuse at the German–Dutch border. The forest is located in the municipal territory of Kleve, Goch, Kranenburg and Bedburg-Hau. It is the largest coherent wooded area of the lower Rhine and the largest coherent public state forest of North Rhine-Westphalia with an area of 51 km2 (5100 ha).

Heijen is a village in the south-east Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Gennep, Limburg.

Gennep (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɣɛnəp] ) is a municipality and a city in upper southeastern Netherlands. It lies in the very northern part of the province of Limburg, 18 km south of Nijmegen. Furthermore, it lies on the right bank of the Meuse river, and south of the forest of the Klever Reichswald. The municipality of Gennep has 17,277 inhabitants (2014). The Niers river flows into the Meuse in Gennep.

Kessel is a village in the municipality of Goch, Kreis Kleve in the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The village has 2,129 inhabitants. Like Goch, Kessel is also situated at the banks of the river Niers. In addition to the central village, the townships of Nergena and Grunewald also belong to it. The western boundary of the village also forms the country-border with the Netherlands, namely the villages Ottersum and Gennep. In the northwest the Reichswald is the demarcation.

The Niers (German pronunciation: [niːɐ̯s], Dutch: [niːrs]) is a river in Germany and The Netherlands, a right tributary of the river Maas (Meuse). Its wellspring is near Erkelenz, south of Mönchengladbach, in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).

Milsbeek is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Gennep, and lies about 14 km southeast of Nijmegen. The village was first mentioned in 1329 as Milsbeec, and is named after a brook.Milsbeek was home to 520 people in 1840. The former pottery was turned into a pottery museum in 2016, and has to last remaining wood oven of the Netherlands.

The Katharinenhof in Kranenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, was used from 1446 until 1802 as the home of a convent of sisters of the Catholic Church. After that time, the building served various uses. Since 1961, the house serves as a museum.

Kranenburg is a town and municipality in the district of Cleves in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located near the border with the Netherlands, 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Nijmegen and 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Cleves. Since 1992, Kranenburg has evolved into a commuter town for Nijmegen.The village has always focused on the Dutch city of Nijmegen, and the local language was Dutch until far into the 19th century.
