The Maitland Estate is a historic home located at 9 Sunset Drive. in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Designed by Denver architects Merrill H. Hoyt & Burnham F. Hoyt and built in 1925 in a Tudor Revival style. The estate was the home of Denver business leader James Maitland who operated the Colorado Builders’ Supply. The listing included a 4.2 acres (1.7 ha) area.It has an L-shaped plan, 82 feet (25 m) on its north–south axis and 71 feet (22 m) on its east–west. Through its first of two stories it is built of brown brick laid in common bond.

The Little Estate is a mansion home located at 1 Littleridge Ln. in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. It was built in 1941 in Tudor Revival style. The property has a pool, mature trees, and landscaping. The house is a two-story gabled brick building, with main part about 31 by 65 feet (9.4 m × 19.8 m) in plan, and with a one-story wing about 27 by 60 feet (8.2 m × 18.3 m) in plan. Its exterior walls, set upon a concrete foundation, are finished with brick laid in common bond.

The Owen Estate is a home located at 3901 S. Gilpin St. in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. It was built in the early 1920s on five acres of landscaped grounds in Tudor Revival style. The property includes a "mansion, a complex gatehouse consisting of a gardener's shed/tank house connected by a brick entry arch to an adjacent water tower, a sizable chicken house, and a small coal shed. The property is predominantly bordered by a wood fence constructed of massive timbers, along with a brick wall along a portion of Gilpin St."

The Chester M Alter Arboretum is an arboretum located on the campus of the University of Denver, 2467 South Vine Street, Denver, Colorado. In 1999 the trees of the University Park campus were named an arboretum to honor Chancellor Emeritus Chester M Alter. The Arboretum comprises about 2,100 trees, including many rare specimens for Colorado. Specimens include: Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides),Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani), Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum), Umbrella Pine (Sciadopitys) and many species of Maples (Acer) and Oaks (Quercus).

The Evans Memorial Chapel (often simply Evans Chapel) is an historic chapel on the campus of the University of Denver in Colorado. It is the oldest continuously-used building for religious purposes in Denver. Completed in 1878, the Evans Memorial Chapel was built with patronage by John Evans in honor of his daughter Josephine. Evans was governor of the Colorado Territory and a founder of the Colorado Seminary (now the University of Denver). Formerly part of Grace Church, a prominent Methodist Episcopal congregation on 13th Avenue and Bannock in downtown Denver, the small Gothic Revival chapel was moved to the University of Denver's campus in 1959. It reopened there in April 1960, and is now the campus's oldest building. It currently serves as an interdenominational chapel and wedding venue.

Woodstock West is the name University of Denver students gave to the shanty village that they built while protesting the school's decision to stay open after the Kent State shootings.

The Foster-Buell Estate is a home located at 2700 E. Hampden Ave. in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. It is an example of Colonial revival architecture built in 1920. The architects were William Ellsworth Fisher and his brother Arthur Addison Fisher (Fisher & Fisher). The grounds were landscaped by Saco DeBoer. It was first the residence of Alexis C. Foster and then the home of architect Temple Buell.

The Daniels College of Business is the business college of the University of Denver,a private research university in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 1908 and is the eighth oldest business school in the United States. Daniels currently enrolls approximately 2 300 students, divided between graduate, undergraduate programs, and dual undergraduate/graduate programs.
